One nice feature with the smart phones is it is real easy to either set up a timer or multiple alarms to remind myself of task to start or end. Example I set the timer on the smart phone for 45 min to remind me it is time to move the garden hose when watering the plants in the yard. At the 20:55 mark, it reminds me of taking the skin from an old blister off my heel back in the days of hiking as a child.with poorly fitted hiking boots. Another great video with tips and tricks on building the Petrel Play. Thanks for sharing
I wasn't sure if I would like the dark details in the puzzle panels but with the fill coat it looks pretty good. Boy I just start getting into the videos and booooooooom next week. Your killing me Nick. Its looking good and can't wait to get to my boat in a couple of months, just had major back surgery so Im at the easy does it stage. But Im ready to go! Thanks for these videos its much better than the manual.
@@scottgorman7166 The Petrel Play SG does come with bulkhead patterns, where the Strip Petrel Play does not. I think I may have patterns on my hard drive somewhere that I can send you.
@@NickSchadeyes Nick my mistake. I just looked in my manual and the parts list for the Petrel Play SG-L it does show the bulkheads. Thanks for the offer.
It is a ProPrep scraper. One of the best scrapers I own. Unfortunately, they are no longer made. You may find some on auction sites or used tools outlets. My hardware store had new ones in stock for a long time after they were no longer made. They are worth looking around for.

Some sort of reminder would definitely have helped.
Great series Nick, thanks
Especially helpful to see how to problem solve the inevitable issue that come up
Glad you enjoyed it
Getting closer all the time. Looking good!
We are making progress

@@NickSchade Thanks Nick...I noticed the Petrel doesn't have any bulkheads. Can we add our own? Do you have a pattern one can purchase?

Welcome!
What’s the name and the model of the hand scraper that you filed with the chainsaw file to round over the coming edges and knee braces?

Why not remove the tape when the epoxy is green?
Absolutely the best time to do it, I just got busy with other stuff and forgot.
Leaving tape on too long..... everyone does that every once and a while.
I seem to do it regularly
