Pro tip, anytime you wish to replace a fuel hose, you can block off one end with a Philips screw driver, this way you won't damage the inner hose walls like you would when using a bolt or a screw. I recently had a faint fuel smell in my 500 SE's cabin, however it went away already. I noticed that with my car this occurred the very first time I topped up the fuel completely. I have owned the car for about 3 months now, and will start to slowly restore it, starting with the rear window and trunk rust spots.
@@jeroenaddress Thank you for the tip! Rear window out is quite an issue I guess. So far all looks fine there with my car. When I bought it, the rear window area was very clean and I had a car waxed with great detail, using Hodt fluid film and Mike Sanders.
The repair worked well! Cheers.
