that Capito guy... he seems like a nice guy so nothing personal against him.. but his style of play is really the reason why a shot clock is needed.. it's really tedious to watch a player take half a minute to make rather simple shots.

Totally agree. The amount of time taken for basic shots is ridiculous. The shot clock in this stage helped speed up the game, but in previous rounds - with many players - it was stunningly slow play. People don't want to watch a guy stand around a table for 60 to 90 seconds on any shot - let alone shots and position play that are obvious.
