Cause if they believe you they will send others in the opposite direction (aka your direction) just to get to you first! If they don't believe you, they will first search in the opposite direction (again aka your direction)!

That's where a basic understanding of currency comes in handy with a traditional money system of copper coins at the lowest with a hundred copper equal to one piece of silver and a gold coin being a hundred silver coins. Logically speaking with the existence of magic in a medieval styled setting depending on whether this is after a world shaking historical events with remnants of past technology to consider, ale should have been about 20-25 copper for a middling ale, I'm not a mathematician so I'm probably wrong but in such a system a gold coin would be 100^3, the means of production of a lot of things would be easier given the utility of magic.

i've always thought that reincarnation skills were filled with plotholes, but man does this series highlight that fact
like if you know you've fully mastered magic & that you're going to reincarnate when you die of old age no matter what, why wouldn't you collect all the things? like tens or even hundreds of each item from varrying rarities, especially so since you dont know what type of world you would be reincarnating into
also the basic knowledge department is kinda lacking, stuff like knowing people cant see the item box since he could have just tried to show it off to a kid in a random village in his previous life

also even if you got reincarnated into another world, the stuff you collected in your previous life would still be valuable, either as rare goods to sell or materials to make weapons and armor
