Probably one of the best interviews I have seen with Ville. I love that you are just having a really thoughtful conversation, really interesting questions. Ville is such a lovely, down to earth guy, I'm always blown away by it. It would be really nice to just sit and have a long chat with him.

It's because I look at myself as a fan and ask what I really want to know. It frustrates me enormously when reporters ask about girlfriends or why their hair is a certain color. I saw an interview w Robert Smith (the Cure) where the were talking about his make up! I just don't understand, I mean, this guy is one of the most amazing artists alive, has the ability to translate 'life' in music. I really don't need to hear why he wears lipstick.
How many times has he said "you know"? hahaha I love him, he is very smart and you can realise of that by listening to the songs he write... they're full of meaning
Yes, I think he's a really interesting smart guy who has some original points of view that I would love to hear more about, so I'll definitely ask for another interview. I think he liked the fact that we were having a conversation :)

It's refreshing to see the more serious side of an artist and not always the entertaining front they often put on for show. So many time in interviews Ville is joking around or giving different answers to the same old questions. This is a nice change of pace. Oh... and thanks for not asking him "What is Love Metal?"

I'm a fan of HIM and Ville and it's funny when I introduce them to some of my friends, they tend to be so judgmental and everything. Maybe because they're kinda goth or the way they look with all those tattoos, smoking and alcohol. It's just so sad they don't get to see what we (him fans and Ville fans) on them. How incredible their music is, how talented they are and that in reality, Ville is a man of substance, very wise and a gentleman.

And you're right, he probably did, knowing Ville. Someone finally came at him with some thought behind the question, not the same bullshit questions that other journalists ask. Kudos!

I adore what he said about art and dna and everything. :) I view life the same way.. that almost everything is art in a sense, and that life and art imitate each other. It's all so very relative. Wow, he's smart and so profound! Love it! Also what he said about pain. We are such kindred spirits. This conversation is a piece of art indeed! :D When was this recorded? Anyone know?

I get where he is comming from. I agree with him about all of what he said. About Art, pain, emotional times. It's funny how you actually do listen to gloomy things instead of the happy things when you are depressed. It makes you feel better in a way. Like you are not alone and someone understands what you are going through. He deserves a pat on the back and a large hug^^

thx, I was a bit offended at first when I read how you hated that I interrupt him. I get quite a lot of 'hate' comments on conversations that I do, and it sometimes gets to me. Especially because I try to respect everyone and I really do have a lot of respect for the artists as well as my fellow fans. Heartagram hugs too :)
simple art is replication and cleanly presented of information with the viewers extra angle. entertainment is amusment. That is why a diary is a diary. specific definiton, but things cross.

actually, i had a loose tooth, and sneezed in my basement on a white wall about 7 years ago, the tooth came out and there was some blood on the wall, and i missed a few specks or so, and eventually the blood turned brown green.
