Okay, I know these stories are for children, but I gotta admit I, a grown up, love hearing them too! Thank you Father!

Father, I have a serious problem. When I say my prayers, specifically morning, after I feel like they were not good enough, so I say them again, and I let my pride judge me, not god. Every morning I say the Jesus prayer 50 times and say repentance psalm 50. But I feel like I did not say them to get closer to God. Thoughts go on in my mind when I pray, and it is hard to get them out. So I say them again. Please help me, I don’t know what it means to get closer to God, it is confusing for me. I’m only 11 years old.
