Wow! I'm learning so much about owls & this is really great food 4 my brain I get so into watching a Barred Owl Family a man is posting daily that I catch myself watching the clock 2 see what the last 24 hrs has in-store this video has helped me understand how they digest whole food I couldn't grasp it but I got it now ! Exciting! Thank u
Thank you for sharing. Showed this to my classes before they dissected their owl pellets. They were grossed out at first, but were fascinated when actually dissecting the pellets!
I actually thought of that after the fact. The video was already pretty lengthy (most people so far have only watched 40 percent, according to my analytics) so didn't want it to run much longer. I may do a follow up video comparing bones to the charts...
I found what I think may be an owl pellet on my car today. But it is not coated in fur. Could that still be a pellet or possibly from another bird. I did see what appeared to be egg shell and feathers?
Hmmm. Did you take a picture? Many birds do regurgitate pellets - mainly all that prey on animals. So could be a variety of birds. Did you dissect it? Bones inside?
So THAT'S what you look like! For some reason, I thought you'd look (and be) serious & morose. Wow-the opposite, right? Your vid is ever so clearly presented: thanks very much.

Haha!!! I've been seen on a few videos ;) Now why would you think I'd be sullen and down? Haha!
Guess I don't know why. I just don't know why.
Who knows how my brain works. Or anyone else's works, right?
Haha!!! All good. When I do post a video in front of the camera, most feedback I get is that I have a great 'radio voice'. I agree, haha!
Great delivery, for real. Yr enthusiasm is infectious.
cool
Thanks for watching 😊
it looked like it pooped out of its mouth.
Haha! Yep. Pretty much ;)
