I'm from a Tibetan buddhist background and have recently watched a lot of his teaching videos online. He is a truly great teacher, who is actually knowing what he is talking about and an extremely compassionate, empathic person. He has a profound insight into the (western) human psyche and how it reacts to these eastern types of spiritual path. Anyone practicing any buddhist tradition can only profit from listening to him.
Is Daizan still situated in Japan? Also from the UK but living in Japan, as he says "a thief recognises a thief". I like his style and would like to engage with him if possible.
Maybe taking out the poetry, it seems obvious to me that "bringing heaven and earth together" (5.28), involves finding the direct ability to release, rebound, dilate relative to gravity (earth), and the spherical loading caused by air density (heaven), buoyancy, to separate and combine these two subtle forces.
Now compare Daizen Skinner to Daniel Ingram. Skinner is the real thing, he got it, Ingram is one of those Skinner mentions who haven't got it but believe they have.
@@mellowsunrays @petrairene both of you are way off and either need to watch some actual videos of his teaching, or actually read his book, or don't talk so confidently about topics you don't know when you're spreading a wrong view. I've listened to him for hundreds of hours and the idea that someone could think he's making any of it up is just laughable at this point. Get a clue.

I think that might be Magi McGlynn of Balquhidder in the thumbnail photo, am I right?

Ingram is when delusion mixes with some insight !
@@mellowsunrays Ingram is when the ability to produce some meditation experiences cause the delusion of actual realisation.
