AMREEN GILL (a.k.a. Bhangralicious) is a content creator, comedian and actor based in Vancouver, Canada. Her original comedy sketches and dance videos have garnered millions of views on RUclips, Instagram, and TikTok. Amreen’s RUclips channel has raked in 78 million views since its inception in 2018.
SWARNDEEP GILL is a content creator, producer and actor. He has amassed millions of views on Instagram and TikTok with his unique dance videos and original comedy sketches. Every month, his social media accounts collectively generate more than 5 million impressions worldwide. As an integral part of the BHANGRAlicious brand, he has produced, filmed, and edited all video content for the brand's RUclips channel, which has over 500,000 subscribers.
While Amreen and Swarndeep have made a name for themselves by tickling our funny bones and entertaining us with their wit, what sets them apart is their commitment to addressing societal issues, especially within the South Asian community. Through humor, they shed light on topics that matter.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it.
She said how there’s a lot of females in her maternal family. What i get from that statement is that we know how typical Indian relatives react to it, saying how very sad/unfortunate it is that its a girl baby again. Saying things like “ehne taa chali jana” “vyaah ho jana” etc. (well because its a male dominant world and patriarchy) i guess this what she heard growing up, I can totally see where she is coming from.
Its her POV, from her experiences and I know A LOT of punjabi/women can relate to her.
