Wah Lasitskene is so beautiful. I've been watching lots of woman's high jump and she's always the best.
Sadly, she got burned with the Russians getting banned from the Olympics in 2016. There has never been even a hint that she ever took any “performance enhancers”, yet she was blocked with the rest of the team.
Love to see the evolution of Lasitskene.
Back when she struggled to pass the 2.0m and now she is leading every tournament by far.

Yaroslava Mahuchikh will brake it sooner or later it is only a matter of time.She just did 2.04 at world championships being 18 YEARS OLD and breaking the world junior record twice on the same event.
My absolute favorite of all the sports, and this is the absolute best in that universe. Not to detract from any of the fine ladies here, but I've always been and probably always will be devoted to Blanka Vlasic. She is in a category all by herself. Not just incredible technical skill, but with persona and beauty that can't be matched.
A very close second would be Anna Chicherova. Contests between Vlasic and Chicherova . . . a finer example of the artform would be hard to imagine.

Great video. I miss Vlasic and Chicherova. Lasitskene no longer at the top. The only current jumper who can clear these heights is Mahuchikh. But it's a long way from 2.06 to 2.10.

Any tips for high jumps??
- Know exactly where the bar is while you’re jumping
- Arch your back LOADS and bring forward your hips
- Make sure you get loads of momentum from your run up
- Keep your heels and hands a safe distance from the bar as you could be able to reach the height, so you don’t want to be let down by hands or heels clipping the bar
- Don’t hesitate when your coming up to it, trust yourself
