When they moved to New Zealand for Ninja Storm, Jackie Marchand fought for a team up to happen, but Disney was stricter with the budget and there were some Union issues that I don't really know about. Disney felt it was too expensive and decided not to risk it. Actually there have been three male yellows (in Power Rangers). Besides Dustin and Chip, there was also Tideus the yellow alien ranger from season 3.5.
On a future season, Ransik reunite a new team of rangers to fight a new threat, his grandson (Lucas and Nadira son) is the red ranger and Eric and Taylor daughter is the yellow ranger
Sadly, pretty much since the *Super Sentai* series began in Japan and when *Power Rangers* came along, it seems that a Red Ranger is pretty much the de facto leader of a Sentai/Ranger team since the color of red has been a symbol of leadership all over the world.
I met Alyson at a con in 2016 & hugged her. I also flirted with her & was asking if she would ever date a guy like me. She said she's been married for years but doesnt understand why I didnt already have a gf.
