I just bought this jacket in size S, fit perfectly for my small torso 167cm and I ride 350km through heat and cold weather in the rain 🌧️, the jacket kept me cold, warm and zero water penetration and still feels like it’s brand new! I don’t know much about how they produce them but the layers/liner does perfect job for under 300$ adventure jacket. Really love the jacket and got people came and ask for its price!
As an owner of this jacket I’d like to offer a quick correction to the video. The nucleon chest protectors are actually inserted from the same access point where you add the back protector. These internal “pockets” can only be accessed through this part of the jacket NOT from the two front zippered pockets.
Thanks. I did find it myself eventually. I'll never buy one of their products again. I got the corporate f-off we can't be bothered with our customers email from head office. I won't deal with brands who consider their customers beneath them. @VoulkHusky
@@TheVenancio89 I stand corrected on my initial reply…..shoulder armour is removable., so presumably elbows are too……just put an afternoon aside trying to find the pocket openings for them 🤗😆
Cooling on this Andes is quite good. Many folks think you need a mesh jacket for hot temps. That's simply not true and in fact mesh jackets on long hot rides will dehydrate the heck out of you.
@@SpeedAddictsTV thankfully well noted the advise. Much appreciate. Many have advised me that since it has only two open vents on the chest it will warm up during summer like a hell . But with a good base layer cloths this will work OK during 35 degree Celsius atmospheric temperature
@@SpeedAddictsTV someone said that riding long trips wearing the Andy’s air might dry a person out, but I know how hot it can get throughout those states. Thank you!
This one has been fine for me down to those temps when I was riding a TW200. Honestly I was okay down to 30F. Forearms maybe a bit cold to some, but I was just wearing a short sleeve underneath. When I threw on a long sleeve I was fine. Below 30F, I put on a thin thermal liner and as fine down to about 10F or so. Jack is a bit warm once it his 85F or so if you are on a ADV or other bike with wind protection. Still bearable, but wishing for a little bit more flow personally.
You can’t…..they’re fixed within the jacket and can’t be accessed unlike they were in the V1 🤷🏼♂️ I’d be interested to know if the V2’s armour was also removable?…..or is this a ‘new’ idea solely within the V3 🤔

I have found the pickets fit elbow und shoulder. Not for chest and back. ☹️
Hey Soopa, thanks for the info! we'll get a correction added, happy riding
Hi bro , can I use it during hot weather like 35 degree Celsius . Being an owner your advise is lot to me to take a decision
@@NishadAbdulkhaderyes it has good ventilation!

Thanks for the review
I had this jacket 2 years every day wearing. It's vfm. Almost perfect. Warm waterproof .I only change the protectors with Dainese and it's better.
That's great to hear!
Are the elbows and shouders protections removable? Can't find this info and I want an AlpineStar to put the cat. 2 protections
Yes, the elbow and should armor is removable.
@@SpeedAddictsTV thanks for your help

I want to ride from Alabama through Florida up into Georgia and back, should I get this jacket and pant combo or the Andes air combo?
I would recommend the Andes Air.

Your review was very useful. I am sold. But... you are out of stock. I had to buy from Amazon
Bummer. Thanks for watching though!

I’m 6.3 ft tall and 170 pounds weight , which size is suitable for me.
If you follow Alpinestars sizing chart, you should be in good shape.
Is this jacket good for winter weather like 40F or 50F?
I am looking for waterproof+ winter jacket. Which one do you recommend?

Yes it's very good
Appreciate the feedback @EvLSpectre
Can you zip it together with Alpinestars leather pants ?
Absolutely.
Are those orange accents on the blue color?
They are more red than orange.
How to exchange arm and shoulder pads?
You can purchase pads separately.
You can’t…..they’re fixed within the jacket and can’t be accessed unlike they were in the V1 🤷🏼♂️

1.75m , 77kg , size for me?
I would recommend following the sizing chart on the product page.
Im 1.68m, 82kg.
Had a medium in the V1 and just purchased a large in the V3.
Feels tighter across the chest 🤷🏼♂️
Id it waterproof or water resistant?
Hey Gelu, this one is made with waterproof drystar material!
This guy looks like Jim Carry 😂😂😂
AAAAAALLLLLLL Righty Then! Thanks for watching!
