Visited Benevento 5 years ago.... We never knew we had family there. My grandfather came from San Giovanni di Ceppaloni.... Caught a ride to that town and walked the same streets as my grandfather who we never knew..... Luckily, the BNB Domus Triani hooked us up with our family that she happened to know..... We visited the consulate and met my 3rd cousin, the mayor and about 30 distance relatives in the Mastella family. What a wonderful trip that was. Our late father never knew his father, my grandfather and I'm not sure how he would've felt about all this but I felt amazing about it all. Still keeping intouch today
Ciao Antonio my mother is from Benevento and her last name is Clemente! I was wondering if we are maybe cousins? My grandfathers name is Giuseppe Clemente and my great grandfather’s name was Angelo Clemente
