I own a used Glock 22 .40 model. I have 9x19mm barrels & a GS stainless steel barrel in .357sig ... I wear my 9mm Glock 22 often with factory, Magpul P mags.
I have bought your Double Diamond .40cal/9mm conversion barrels and love them. I was excited about .45/10mm but when I got mine it failed to feed. Extraction was fine. Seemed like the long 10mm just would not make the turn at the top of the ramp (maybe it doesn’t actually make a turn, but that’s how it looks when the round is stuck there). I sent it back, got another one and had same problem. Gave up and got refund. I had correct mags and oiled the new barrels. Tried two kinds of ammo. It was in my Gen 3 G21.
@dn2077 Extra powered magazine springs cured my failure to feed issues with the 10mm conversion barrel. I live in CA so I'm not sure if the gimped 10 round mags play a part or not. I never really had any failure to extract issue so I still have the original extractor in my 21f.

Lenny I thought you where converting a 45 acp to a 10mm 18:48 and a a few more times you said 40 cal from a 45. In the beginning I was with you but you lost me when you started talking about 40 cal I had to rewind the video to make sure I didn't miss anything I think you might have gotten off track I know it's easy to do when you deal with as many different firearms as you do. Great video I think this video will fix a lot of people's problems with the 10mm conversation kit witch could be everything from stove piping to failure to extract. When I ordered my conversion kit I ordered a new extractor for a 10mm because I knew the case heads where different sizes.
Sorry, I know this could be confusing for some. A 10mm and .40 cal bullet share the same diameter; so, I referred to 10mm as .40 cal when discussing parts related to bullet diameter (ie. extractor, bore, etc).
@@glockstore I got ya I shoot 40 out my 10mm often it's cheaper and easier to find. Love the videos I get a lot of good info and the store has anything and everything I could ever want.
My double diamond barrel I got from you guys last year jams about every time 😢 I got the coversion barrel but stopped using it cause I thought it would destroy my Glock 21
so maybe a year ago, they had the conversion .40 to 9mm also for the Gen 4, to make my .40 M27 to run like a 9mm M26. Well it did not work out and later found the Glock Store had to update the specs because the 9mm did not work on the G4., I have the 19, but wanted my M27 to run like a M26 9mm. I also have g4 for M29 and M30, so not sure if this would make any advantage to me. I love my 10mm.
Love me some Lenny but, just buy a complete slide on this conversion. Although this will work its worth noting the 45ACP slide breach face is larger than a .40/10mm slide breach face. Also the ejector is different angle.
I'll have to try an extractor; I've had a 10mm conversion barrel for my G21 for years, but hardly shoot it because it mangles and tears up the brass beyond resizing in a reloading press.
Hey Lenny love ur content. I purchase my glock survival kits through u. Would u recommend doing all this with the 41 Gen 4 knowing the slide is thinner? I wanna convert the 41 to 10mm thinking it would shoot more accurate maybe lil less recoil being the larger frame and longer slide than the 21.
When I purchased my Double Diamond10mm conversion barrel from you several months ago, your website said there was nothing else to buy. Simply swap out barrels and go. Now all of a sudden, a different extractor is needed. What gives?
Lenny.... why would I got to the trouble of replacing parts in my G-21 to convert it to shoot 10mm.... when I could just buy a G-20 and have TWO powerful Glocks? Come on Peeps.... open the checkbook!!! 🙂
Okay Lenny, question, totally off the subject of .40 to 10. I have a 80%, every time i rack the firing pin nob gets stuck on the back side of Crucifix and the slide wont come off. Ive replace every from the trigger and bar to everything in back. What's wrong. I know you'll probably said the 80%... lol
Lenny... is your channel non-monitized.... or how are y'all getting around RUclips's rules about showing modifications on firearms? Just curious. Tks!!
So, im kinda thinking two lines of thought here.... a complete second slide ready to go in 10mm or a second pistol. There's too much chaos to take down while in the driver seat of my pickup in the woods to be screwing around with😅
When you're use a conversion barrel 40SW to 9mm, do you have to change the ejector I suppose? I don't even live in the US and I like a lot this videos XD
I'll buy the extractor right now, if you'll answer the question: Can I leave that new 10MM extractor in the slide while firing .45 ACP in the original barrel?
Kkm does. Or actually did I was told they don't make them anymore. I bought one brand new from a fellah not knowing it was a conversion barrel, now I got a brand new KKM 45 acp to 10mm 6 inch conversion barrel I can't use.
Some guys say they would trust conversion kit in grizz country and to just get real 10mm. Also, does this technically make this bull barrel and better accuracy. And what model is the long barrel 10mm I forget.
I bought mine a million years ago and I could have sworn it was called Slim Frame on the original paperwork (lost in a gargage). Can anyone rmemer that or am I going crazy. I feel Short frame is farely new but I bout mine 15 years ago.
@@glockstore great thank you. Why have two guns? I’m a big fan of Glock. I have a Gen 5 19 that I put a Timney in trigger in. I have a Holosun 507C green. Always good to see practical advice for making the most of our firearms
Lenny is an absolutely fantastic teacher. And it is clear that he has disassembled and reassembled these pistols thousands of times.
Was wondering why it was stovepiping every few rounds w the 10mm barrel. You just saved my life from a Grizzly Bear Lol. Thanks Lenny!
Seems like swapping barrel and extractor at the same time each way is the ticket. Good opportunity to do some slide cleaning as well. Makes sense
I was just wondering if the 10mm extractor will still extract the 45acp casing?
Swapping barrels for different calibers like .45 to 10mm can really change up your shooting experience.
