As far as I know, there should not be any problem if you do alterations. When you receive your flat keys, all the do and don'ts will be made known to you. Where did your friend get this information about the toilet? Was it directly from HDB? Anyway, if you have doubts contact the HDB and consult them directly.

OCS packages have different levels. Some people opt for the whole package - vinyl flooring, kitchen cabinets, bedroom wardrobe, grilles etc. Whereas some would just opt for only the flooring or not to opt for anything at all.

Hi, the induction cooktop was changed by which contractor and how much did it cost?
An adaptor was used for the induction cooker. That was supplied by Sincero Pte Ltd. 1003 Eunos Ave 8, #01-45. Tel 68419133. Cost around $150.00

OCS stands for Optional Scheme. In other words it’s added renovations that the HDB , the Housing and Development Board, does for an added price.
