For me it was the book, I cried for about an hour after I read her death. It hurt to think about all those relationships she built up minutes before she died AUGHH.

I don’t like the ending. She didn’t save Juliet, she cursed her. Now everybody is gonna think that sam died bc of juliet and she is gonna be more hated than ever. People like Kent will be so heartbroken that they will blame Juliet. And Juliet is gonna live her entire life with Sam’s death on her conscience. Sam is not a good person, she cursed Juliet.
I've never actually thought about it, but you have a point. Also the fact that she gave so much hope to Kent for nothing (after ignoring him for years)...I mean, she knows that he's not gonna see her anymore and now he's gonna feel even worse. Idk it's a little messed up😂

her end goal, and perhaps the entire build up of the movie, was to emphasize to someone with debilitating mental health that it isn’t too late for them. sam’s big epiphany at the end of the movie is that she ISN’T a good person, and that she needed to give juliet a purpose, a new reason to live. she wanted to show everyone that life is valuable and worth living. even the scene with lindsey, reminding her that she isn’t alone, can have as much a change on her as her dying does for juliet. additionally, it’s a lot of speculation to assume that everyone will hate her even more. bcuz there’s also the fact that nobody saw her chasing after juliet, nor push her out of the way. not to mention that kent is an extremely forgiving character, so even if he did see this, i doubt he would blame her. he wasn’t written to be that way. if he was, he would’ve despised sam for the constant treatment she subjected him to. yk? overall, this is a very interesting yet pessimistic way to look at the aftermath. bcuz sam dying means that she solidified the job she was meant to do; change the lives of the ppl around her and make them believe their life is more beautiful than first glance.
Well it is karma that probably had her in the loop ... That wanted her to sacrifice ... She was not having a normal life she was just on a loop... Hence after her death.. the same karma would definitely make things go better... Else why would she be stuck in that loop at the first place... It directed her towards her sacrifice.
When the movie ended I immediately thought about how Kent would feel after she died😔
