r = the root
n = the number for which you are finding the root of
This involves the fact that any number r can = a + b
r = a+b so n = (a+b)^3 = a^3 + 3a^2b + 3ab^2 + b^3
But what a + b? because for any number there are an infinite number of (a+b)s
There is one a +b with which we can develop an algorithm to find roots
That would be to let a and b be parts of the root r. So (a+ b)^3 is the number n you are attempting to find the root of.
a is the completed root in each step,
b is the rest of the root in each step, but in practice can also just be the next digit of the root
So the remainder of n each step always is 3a^2b + 3ab^2 + b^3, because in each step a^3 has been subtracted from the n. (This may be difficult for some to see, but look closely, it is actually true).
It might be difficult to see it, but he has developed a process to satisfy that formula
My process is different, and easier, but his and mine end up doing the same thing
PS I have so well developed my algorithm that in 15 to 20 minutes I can find the CR of any number to 10 digits of accuracy. What is the CR of 98 653.004 777 123 555 006 773?
I can find the root of that number to the 10th digit in 15 to 20 minutes on a bit over a half sheet of paper using a pen only. believe it or not
