To everyone who say Gone should be her title track, i do appreciate your opinion. But i think Rosé already works hard for both songs, and OTG is related to her the most. We can see there's a scene where Rosé looking at Roseanne playing Piano. OTG resembles her a lot, story about herself, how she grows from an Aussie girl who plays piano and sing in the midnight (Rosé did mention she always singing and playing piano before her dad made her go for audition), the ups and downs to the Rosé we know now. This song have a lot of message she wants to tell herself, such as even she already famous, she want to stay true to herself and dont want to lose that, about her passion in music. That's why, in my opinion OTG song is a better choice for her to start her solo debut. Because OTG is Rosé's story.

Idk why there's all this conversation about which song is better because clearly both songs mean so much to Rosie and I think they both compliment and suit her voice so much. On the Ground is absolutely beaut, such a good title track and the lyrics are so personal and lovely, and Gone is that perfect gentle heartbreak song that makes you cry when you want too, 10/10 for everything!
I personally prefer this song over On the ground, but just like some people mentioned, I understand why she chose On the ground over this as her solo, since she probably relates to its meaning more than this song

Can we just give credit where its due? Like there's no point in choosing favorites. Both songs have their own Uniqueness. Tbh we should be hyping our girl up way more for having 2 complete English songs. We know she can sing in english, but for her to pour it all out for us in the two songs is automatically amazing. Like first of all those high notes she had to reach on OTG, SPECTACULAR. To be truthful I had to listen to it at least twice to really catch on the tempo, because it varies throughout the song, but I think that's what makes it so good, it doesn't sound like your typical song, i think its soo unique. Now Gone defenitley is her more soothing, more sweet tempo that we know Rose has from the get go. To me honestly is much more cliche than OTG , but doesn't mean it's a bad song, again they're both well lyrically written, and the music itself gives you two completely different feels/vibes. Cheers to both songs. Rose did that.

To people who say that Gone is better than On the Ground:
To be honest, I won't fight that fact that you think that this song should be the title track, but the fact that there are only two songs in the album, and they didn't have a choice and they had to make one a B-Side, and I know that it's a hard decision to make Gone into a B-Side. ( I know that this is kind of not what people are talking about but I also want to add this fact)
Also, the fact that this is Rosé's Solo debut, On The Ground gives me a message that she worked hard to find out that everything she needed is already here (well if i got it wrong someone pls correct me, i'm fine with it), this song is also a song that she written by herself, and the fact that people say that On the ground is better than Gone seems disrespectful. Rosé worked really hard for the both of these songs and shouldn't we appreciate her good, wait no, Amazing work instead of just complaining that Gone is better than On The ground?

Can we just give credit where its due? Like there's no point in choosing favorites. Both songs have their own Uniqueness. Tbh we should be hyping our girl up way more for having 2 complete English songs. We know she can sing in english, but for her to pour it all out for us in the two songs is automatically amazing. Like first of all those high notes she had to reach on OTG, SPECTACULAR. To be truthful I had to listen to it at least twice to really catch on the tempo, because it varies throughout the song, but I think that's what makes it so good, it doesn't sound like your typical song, i think its soo unique. Now Gone defenitley is her more soothing, more sweet tempo that we know Rose has from the get go. To me honestly is much more cliche than OTG , but doesn't mean it's a bad song, again they're both well lyrically written, and the music itself gives you two completely different feels/vibes. Cheers to both songs. Rose did that.
