This is a BBC show from the 1950s that touches upon Burmese Buddhism, meditation, and the ascetic life. They interview an Indian yogi at International Meditation Center in Rangoon and there is also a brief clip of Sayagyi U Ba Khin.
I saw this video perhaps a year or two ago and it left such awe that I had no words...Glad it survived from the 1950s. I remember reading Anecdotes of Venketa-raman from Sayagyi U Bha Khin's disciples. Never thought that I will be able to see the video. Thank you!
Hi , I wanted to use a little bit of the clip of Sayagyi U Ba Khin in a video I am making (non-commercial purpose). Is this footage in the public domain? Can you tell me where I can get this footage ? Thanks, Mrinal
Where can we find the complete video? This ending looks abrupt.

Reminds us how fast the the way of life is being changed. Must hurry up before it is too late.
BTW, Monks do not carry begging-balls, they are called Arms-Balls nor they go on begging rounds but Arms-Rounds. There is a vast difference between the two.
"alms"
What is the difference?
