9:05 better was to use first your hero power then use Mass Hysteria because in this case you have 75% to kill a minion and then playing Mass Hysteria will clear the board.

I remember fighting a priest that played 3 or 4 Amaras because he had two seance cards and he used Zola. It took forever to beat him.
Incorrect order at 9:09. Hero power before hysteria increases the chance of clearing the board to 75% from 50%, since the only outcome of Hysteria first is one minion surviving.

Dane, this deck is exquisite! Thank you! Edit: currently 45% win rate at rank 14, with over 40 games played; made a few changes, as Lyra and Princess Talanji are worthless and there are some better deathrattle minions. Getting Cataclysm from Yogg has lost me 2 games :-D I'm loving it!!

They knew it was a broken card, just not why and in which deck.
It definitely would've been better for them to stay DK Rexxar since 1) It gives a ton more value in the control matchup, which it was likely to be seeing as Dane's deck revolved around value, and 2) There was only one minion on the opposing side, meaning most (if not all) of your targeted spells are going to be useless and hit your own summons.
At that point, it was pretty obvious Dane wasn't Mecha'thun, so it's unnecessary for him to go "all in" and try to kill him before the game went on for too long. I can see the play being somewhat optimal if Mecha'thun was an option, since you want to kill them asap, but with the amount of value generation and cards over 3 mana in his deck, it's pretty obvious Mecha'thun wouldn't be in there.
I mean, if he was meme'ing along with Dane, that'd be kinda understandable. Dane already played Archbishop Benedictus AND Majordomu, as well as having at least one hero card in deck so why not play along? I definitely would in that situation (granted, I don't really care about my rank x3)
