    Pretty neat! I had a couple of friends that sluiced tailings up in Chicken, Alaska area. One in a big way. Never got the gold bug but have always found it interesting. Miner has to be a bit of everything. Miner, geologist, mechanic, inventor, welder, meteorologist, hydrologist, cook and bottle washer to name a few.

    I just subscribed to your channel, after watching Dan Hurd visiting your site, and then sluicing the buckets. Wow 9 Oz of gold run through your machine and shaker table.
    Wow, what a Sluicing table you made. Now watching you build 3 more tables for people wanting them. What a great business. Thanks for showing us your build.       Hey Marlene! Thanks for stopping by. At this point I don't have anything set up for selling gold. But in saying that all that gold from the last cleanup I sold to Dan and there was a lot of pickers in that. I think Dan may sell them separately. One day I may set something up to sell though.

      I forgot to put something in the video about how much gold was caught by VDR matting to show a ratio on capture rate. Hard to believe but it ended up being under 0.1%

      @The Mining Channel Honestly, if you're watching the video, you can tell your pickers from the fine stuff you don't need to put in how much was in there. Just by the image, you can tell that there wasn't even a tenth of a gram

    Cool setup! Well presented and explained. Kinda crazy how abs piping costs so much eh? I recently did a cleanup sluice mat comparison and that VDR matting was one of my favorites. Seemed like a good balance between easy of use, amount of concentrates, and recovery rate. Keep up the good work on the videos!

      Hey bud, I watched your video and forgot to mention it on mine to direct people to see the science of it but ran out of time. The amount of fine gold in the expanded I panned out ended up being less them 0.1% loss the DVR blew over. But..... My gold is fairly large and only 20% is like your stuff you mine in Alberta.

      The decks are pritty heavy, these springs are a bit lighter then my original but still work. I don't have a ratio but the stiffer the better I find works best.

      Thanks ARTE. I am actually working on a design to size it down so it can be hauled by hand into any site. It will be a next year project though:)
