The deadline to win the gold will be 11:59 PM 2023-03-24. I will announce the winner in the next video, don't answer to any comments saying "you won" etc.....
Seeing you make your lower catch basin was so cool... that completely random looking piece of 2 dimensional metal just transformed into a perfect shape.... geometry is imortant kids... stay in school 😊
Thanks Bazamere. I still can't wrap my head around how it works when it is drawn out on some metal but once it is bent up.... it works hahah. Thanks for watching:)
SO, this proves my Dad right when he told me to always clean up all my equipment? Anyway really enjoying your style of videos. Thanks Dan for introducing us.
Pretty neat! I had a couple of friends that sluiced tailings up in Chicken, Alaska area. One in a big way. Never got the gold bug but have always found it interesting. Miner has to be a bit of everything. Miner, geologist, mechanic, inventor, welder, meteorologist, hydrologist, cook and bottle washer to name a few.
Absaloutly!!! Jack of all trades.... master of none hahahah. I would struggle up in Alaska, Im a little spoiled mining close to home and all the things I need!
I just subscribed to your channel, after watching Dan Hurd visiting your site, and then sluicing the buckets. Wow 9 Oz of gold run through your machine and shaker table. Wow, what a Sluicing table you made. Now watching you build 3 more tables for people wanting them. What a great business. Thanks for showing us your build. Do you ever sell small pickers to us watchers of your channel, it would be so cool to have some for real and show my grandkids. I will keep watching and really enjoy it.
Hey Marlene! Thanks for stopping by. At this point I don't have anything set up for selling gold. But in saying that all that gold from the last cleanup I sold to Dan and there was a lot of pickers in that. I think Dan may sell them separately. One day I may set something up to sell though.
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos, I plan on getting property in northern Washington up by the border and do exactly what your doing on your site, you have given me a direction to head in for my trommel and clean up sluice appreciate the channel.
Hey man, thanks for the channel. I stumu on your feed and watched you build trommels and have really been enjoying all the rest of your videos. Congrats on your new baby!
Another great video, just the right amount of detail to understand your thinking and the process. Background music is not too loud and the quality of the audio is what we seniors with hearing disabilities need. Clever incorporation of some gold. Keep them coming.
I love finding gold stuck in the equipment when cleaning it up during winter. Great work, and thank you for posting all of these videos showing your build process, it’s awesome.
Well, if that's all the fine gold that came out of the very last one. You know the miner's moss is doing its job. And it's always nice to find a few extra pickers in your nugget sluice 🎉🎉
I forgot to put something in the video about how much gold was caught by VDR matting to show a ratio on capture rate. Hard to believe but it ended up being under 0.1%
@The Mining Channel Honestly, if you're watching the video, you can tell your pickers from the fine stuff you don't need to put in how much was in there. Just by the image, you can tell that there wasn't even a tenth of a gram
Cool setup! Well presented and explained. Kinda crazy how abs piping costs so much eh? I recently did a cleanup sluice mat comparison and that VDR matting was one of my favorites. Seemed like a good balance between easy of use, amount of concentrates, and recovery rate. Keep up the good work on the videos!
Hey bud, I watched your video and forgot to mention it on mine to direct people to see the science of it but ran out of time. The amount of fine gold in the expanded I panned out ended up being less them 0.1% loss the DVR blew over. But..... My gold is fairly large and only 20% is like your stuff you mine in Alberta.
@The Mining Channel Nice! Yeah I thought the VDR was a great balance of recovery and reduction of concentrates. PLUS, it's easy to clean out and work with. Great stuff!
Awesome build! Basic principles of water flows downhill, give it a little shake and see what falls out! 😂 Newly subscribed from watching Dan Hurd’s channel, nice to see how this machinery is built! Looking forward to more interesting videos! Thanks From Maine, USA!!❤️
Love watching you build these machines it’s definitely seems more efficient than buying brand new ones that cost many thousands. Looking forward to seeing them in action.
I wasn't expecting but I sure was liking that gold I have sent your other fab videos to my brother and he liked them. Yes, looking forward to seeing some mining this spring and summer.. I Went to your channel because of a Dan Hurd video.
Wow those things are amazing. Just got into prospecting and it’s truly a family event for me and my boys. So making something like this would definitely suit my needs. thanks for the vid much appreciated
Those pickers look like Breakfast For Champions, lol! Ask Tony Tiger! ....Great setup & talent, I'll be checking your vids out in the future ..... Also, keep working on that prospectors beard! Lol! 💪👍🤠
Awesome video, the improvement looks great, and sizing down to make transport easier was a good idea, Amazing how precise all your cuts and folds are, accept the paper for the gold weigh up, that was terrible. 😂😂😂. Love the Chanel, thanks for sharing.
Awesome gold you have left over that you missed during cleanup. Always call it my Christmas present buying stash LOL. Man just keep the gold and give me one of those shaker box cleanup sluices. They are awesome dude
Thanks Craig! I used to be a trades instructor for collision repair. I'm a little off on camera but in front of people I am more comfortable for some reason hahaha
Brother I love your videos I wish I had half the talent and skills you do those things look phenominal and that gold is so pretty love the shiny. Keep being you keep having fun and I'm sure you're chomping at the bit for the gold fields to open look and forward to it.
Liking your show. The clean-up shakers are a nice design. That does look like a lot of work. I one to see one of those run. Good show. Loving the gold.
The adjustable peg was a surprise, very good idea. Once again, your ability to make an interesting video was as great as your skill in building a fantastic looking piece of equipment, looks like you have been a Tuber for years. Peace.
Thanks John:) I've been fabricating for over 20 years now. Half of that had been in the hotrod industry and the other 10 building mining equipment. Thanks for watching!
Well done. We had a farm where we made many pieces of equipment. I'm always interested in seeing what people in other industries make/use for smaller scale equipment.
That's crazy you left all that lol I'd be cleaning up every piece I think I might have 😂😂😂 Loving these videos can't wait to see you mine on this channel.
Thanks Steven. I used to be a college instructor back in the day. I can stand in front of 100 people and talk but once a camera is in my face I get nervous. I'll get used to it one day;)
Great work on the cleanup sluices!! Really like the design and am building one very similar to yours with your help from your video. Have a great season!!
Nice!!! I love the look of the aluminum ones. I have always wanted to try out a system in my larger plant. I remeber seeing them first on Yukon gold with Ken and Giome.
The decks are pritty heavy, these springs are a bit lighter then my original but still work. I don't have a ratio but the stiffer the better I find works best.
Thanks Garry! I am new to this video stuff but learning lots:) Mining season is here finally so the builds will be on hold for a bit, first mine site video out this weekend.

Yeah the scam bots are real great idea to get people engaged in the video though 😊
Great looking gold stuck in there, love the clean up shaker man, very nice thorough workmanship
3.7 grams. That's great 👍 that means your box is doing its job. Awesome 👌
And the bucket dump system that you've got is very ingenious. As the old saying goes work smarter not harder
Very well-tuned trommel & sluice boxes!
Love watching your videos. My grandson had fun watching this one with me. 😊
These are awesome! Its nice that they fit in the bed of a truck for easy hauling. Thanks for sharing your design and knowledge.

SO, this proves my Dad right when he told me to always clean up all my equipment? Anyway really enjoying your style of videos. Thanks Dan for introducing us.
Thanks Barry, It is amazing how that gold hides in the boxes. I thought I had it picked through really good.
Love the design of that unit, even an old guy like me could operate it.
Pretty neat! I had a couple of friends that sluiced tailings up in Chicken, Alaska area. One in a big way. Never got the gold bug but have always found it interesting. Hi I really appreciate the effort that you put in to your video, I look forward to them each week, thanks
Thanks Dean, It was hard to get the cleanup machines done and the video in a 2 week period. Almost took on a little to much this time hahaha.
Excellent video. I enjoyed watching the construction of these, and panning out the gold pickers! The sluices look great, very well done!
Thanks Nash! They were a lot of work to do in 2 weeks, I'm recovering this weekend from working to hard lol.
I like this little cleanup plant! Nice work!
Another great video, just the right amount of detail to understand your thinking and the process. Background music is not too loud and the quality of the audio is what we seniors with hearing disabilities need. Clever incorporation of some gold. Keep them coming.

Great Video! I love the detail to describe changes and how we can literally do it ourselves.
Excellent details for every step. Awesome stuff.
Cool setup! Well presented and explained. Kinda crazy how abs piping costs so much eh? I recently did a cleanup sluice mat comparison and that VDR matting was one of my favorites. Thanks Donald!! I usually have it fairly long by now but it has been so warm this year I have had to trim it to keep cool hahah.
Awesome video, the improvement looks great, and sizing down to make transport easier was a good idea, Amazing how precise all your cuts and folds are, accept the paper for the gold weigh up, that was terrible. 😂😂😂. Love the Chanel, thanks for sharing.

You make it look easy ,like your video's there's nothing fake like some other shows we see
Thanks a lot Tom! I can't do "fake" I'm just laid back for that hahah. Thanks for watching!
Nice build once again. I have a Devin cleanup sluice w the side tip and it is awesome!
Nice!!! I love the look of the aluminum ones. I have always wanted to try out a system in my larger plant. I remeber seeing them first on Yukon gold with Ken and Giome.
Great video!!
Do you have a preferred spring rate/weight for the screen deck? Those springs look pretty hefty.
The decks are pritty heavy, these springs are a bit lighter then my original but still work. I don't have a ratio but the stiffer the better I find works best.
Loving these videos. Dude you should get a patent that shaker table! That design is sick
Thanks JPH. I should actually look into it.
nice work, ran across your channel and glad I did. Great content
Thanks Garry! I am new to this video stuff but learning lots:) Mining season is here finally so the builds will be on hold for a bit, first mine site video out this weekend.
Great job and sweet gold.

Love the content keep it coming would also love some of your gold down under in Australia
Very nice, well built and thought out.
IF I had access to water in the desert I'dbe looking for a downsed version for the back of the pickup truck.
Thanks ARTE. I am actually working on a design to size it down so it can be hauled by hand into any site. It will be a next year project though:)
Hey Arte, could you please email me at liquidsteel@hotmail.ca or phone me at 1-250-859-3906. I have a little present for you.
