Yankees couldn’t give two shts about his attitude if he was the star in winning a WS for them.. now they don’t have him they’ll continue their downward spiral. They’ll be fighting the jays to not be bottom of their division
Ohtani is literally twice the player that Soto is. I like Soto but he is not worth 50 per. It was obvious this was going to be a huge overpay and Cohen did just that. 50 per year for a 2 maybe 3 tool player... damn!
@@mart333The AAV thing is nonsense. The fact is this, Ohtani is receiving $700 million dollars for playing for the Dodgers for 10 years. It’s that simple. The average amount of money he will eventually be paid for playing for the Dodgers is $70 million per year. AAV is just for the luxury tax but the reality is Ohtani is playing for 10 years and he’s being paid $700 million. What does that equal per year? $70 million. Regardless of how long it takes for the money to be paid.
Hundred per cent I am going to say it but this contract is a ridiculous amount for a guy who I think has peaked early and won’t hit 40 homers again because he is not in yankee stadium. Compared to ohtani who is worth his contract he isn’t worth that money(Soto)
AJ is right, I also don't turn on the TV to watch Soto. If he gets on base, he won't run and steal. Other than Ohtani, Harper, Carroll, prime Trout, even Julio are worth watching.
If soto's is worth $765 millions for a one dimensional player so how much is ohtani 's worth ? 50 homeruns ,50 stolen bases in one season , and will return to the pitching mount this year oh let's NOT FORGET A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RING 2024.
@@juanaldana8903 The problem Ohtani had was he only wanted to play for one team. When you limit your options, you have to take what that team will pay. Ohtani never wanted to leave the west coast, and only one team in the west coast was able to pay even what he made. Moreover, Ohtani was going into his age 29 season, and Soto his age 26 season. If Ohtani had come into free agency at 26, and opened up the market to all teams, he would have made far more than Soto. Soto just lucked into a perfect storm--being a generational talent on the FA market at 26, and not limiting himself to one team.
I think people are still underestimating how many people Ohtani brought in this past year since the WBC, I'm not even from CA but I've spent hundreds on Ohtani gear and cards this year, plus MLB subscriptions. I hadn't spent money on baseball in years much less regularly watching. I watched nearly every single Dodgers game this year all the way through. Look through comments on game videos and you'll see alot of people saying the same thing that had fallen off from watching baseball who are now back into it because of one guy, and it wasn't Soto
Yup, Shohei turned out to be the gift that keeps on giving. I went to a game in May, and there were masses of Japanese fans that weren't coming to the stadium before. I've heard that LA is getting more Japanese tourists than before. Dodgers are now Japan's favorite MLB team because of him, with all the licensing income that comes with that.
Making big money on a big contract doesn't have to be about 'putting butts in the seats' exclusively. Why are some people constantly justifying Ohtanis deal by bringing up that? He does also have the obligatory Japanese fanbase following his every move, and at every stadium. In the long run....Who cares?
The phillies are happy they signed harper , dodgers ohtani and mookie , padres tatis , yankees judge before this contract . All of them are better than soto and got fair deals . This deal can go horribly wrong.
Yeah, think about a healthy Acuna. He got like 100 million for 8 years and he's surely better than Soto. There's a lot of guys who play a better RF and many guys who hit over 40 HRs. But age and potential played a big part in his contract, but I do think this could be really bad for baseball. I mean, things are already haywire, too many guys getting 10 year deals, but I like Austin Riley better than Soto. People talk about Tyler O'Neill's injuries, but he could hit 50 HRs if he has a healthy year and then whoever gets him this year is probably going to get a nice discount on a guy that can be as good as soto.
35 HR average, 288 batting average, no MVP, no gold glove, mediocre fielder, no base stealing, one gifted championship by the National when he was a rookie, never won championship after that. Am I missing something here? That ain't great, good but not great.
.953 OPS just grows on trees? .420 OBP% just grow on trees? Those HR averages are off due to when he got call up his rookie yr & 60 game season in 2020. He had over 1.000 OPS in that “gifted World Series.”
@@haitiyouyou76 it's not an opinion. 1 WAR is worth $8 mil. If you divide the total WAR accumulated last season by how much money players made that's how much 1 WAR was worth in 2024. It's pretty basic math.
There is no way in hell Soto is worth that kind of money. Giving Ohtani $700 million he can hit, steal and he's an ace pitcher. Soto is a great hitter and that's it, he's a horrible outfielder so many balls drop in front of him that he should be catching. I just think the Mets overpaid and I'm glad the Dodgers jumped out. No way is he worth that kind of money.
Soto is over paid, but I don't blame him. Your worth as much as someone is willing to pay you. I personally would have never get him that kind of contract.
As a Nats fan, Soto is the most entertaining at-bat I’ve ever watched. His vision and feel for the plate is incredible to watch… obv the walks aren’t as cool as the extra base hits but to me, he is so fun to watch
I'll take .290 and .400 OBP every year over 60 homeruns in which most come in low leverage situations with 200 strikeouts. Soto actually shows up in the playoffs
@@wad9799 this was my question which I am curious about too on if there is a breakdown somewhere which shows how judge does against playoff team pitchers during regular season. E.g. is he just killing bad and mediocre pitching and sometimes hitting good pitching? It’s wild that his playoff avg is so bad. It can’t be just choking. It must be matchup issues or elite pitching.
@LL-tc1re with his OBP and walk rate how much Soto gets on base. A bad year is .250 with over a .400 OBP. With how good his eye is I just don't see him falling off drastically at all. I don't understand people saying they don't think he's worth it. They don't see 40 hrs every year and think he's not that great.
In theory I agree - but practically speaking 51/yr IS worth it when you think about it in this market: 3 lesser players are not worth a game-changing future HOF star
As a Padres fan, I would like to say to all Yankees fans out there that you guys dodged a major bullet! The Mets are going to regret that contract for decades to come. No player has ever been so over-hyped than Juan Soto. I will admit I fell for it as well. Prior to joining the Padres all we heard from the National Media was how much of a generational talent he was and how he was the next Ted Williams. So naturally as fans we were beyond excited to have such a player on our team. And how great our line-up will be having him batting between Tatis Jr. And Machado. I will admit I was extremely disappointed. I was expecting him to be an exciting, dynamic player like Tatis Jr., a player you just had to drop what you were doing to see him up at the plate. Someone who is an actual once-in-a-lifetime talent, but I just found him to be a one-dimensional good hitter with a good eye at the plate which earned him a ton of walks. I understand the value of on-base percentage as a highly valued metric but I value batting Ave, RBI's & Slugging Percentage a bit more. No fan buys tickets to see a so-called game-changer opt for a walk when they should expand the zone to drive in runs. In Sotos's case, I felt that in key situations where you needed him to be more aggressive, he would either take a pitch that he should have crushed or prefer to take a close pitch to get a walk. That would be great if he took advantage of getting on base by stealing a base or two or being a menace on the base paths like Tatis Jr. can be. But he was just an average base runner and a defensive liability. Many times, stats can be deceiving; there are no stats that emphasize when that key hit or HR came. Or how a certain at-bat was key to a victory. At the end of the year, all anyone sees is the overall accumulated stats that look impressive on paper but do not tell the real story. Much of Soto's full-season stats with the Padres either came in garbage time or when the team was out of contention. He even enjoyed an ideal batting spot in the batting order between Tatis Jr. and Machado, where he would be giving better pitches to see and drive, but unfortunately, a majority of the time instead of expanding the zone to drive in a run with an out he we would opt for a walk. Nonetheless, I found him to be nothing even remotely equivalent to a Ted Williams type whatsoever. Now as far as the Ted Williams comparison, are you kidding me? How did that comparison come about? Sure, both player's defensive skills were on par with each other and both have comparable Base running skills. The only thing you can possibly say they have in common is that both were left-handed bats with somewhat similar power numbers, and they draw a ton of walks. But a career .280 hitter compared to a career .345 hitter who would consistently drive in 130 plus runs per year makes this comparison laughable. Oh, and Williams was the last man to bat over .400 and might have done so again if not for the military service interruption during the peak of his playing career. Soto is not even in the same ballpark as Ted Williams, nor should his name ever be used in the same sentence as the man. Hell, he is not even at the level of Fernando Tatis Jr. or even Tony Gywnn. I think the Mets are going to regret that contract over the long run. Yankee fan consider yourselfs lucky that you avoided that stupid contract. The Padres contract for Tatis is looking like a bargain now for a far more dynamic player who is at a similar age to Soto, who happens to be a true game-changer on both offense and defense. A genuine Five tool player. Hey, Mets fans, I hope that OBP is an exciting enough stat for you to buy tickets because that what you bought on yourselves. Im just giving you what I have witnessed first hand maybe now that he got his money and security after already achieving a World Series Championship with WS MVP trophy you may see a different player, one without incentives. Plus, the guy played under relatively low stressful media markets with a contract that was considered friendly. Even when with the pressure that is associated with being a star Yankees player, the fans are more forgiving than usual with the same friendly contract than if that star was given a contract worthy of criticism. Especially if their performance didn't match the value in return. Situations like that usually does not turn out well. Good Luck with that!
@@elisalsa24He gave a pretty level headed synopsis on Soto considering he's a almost 800 million dollar 1 way player. You really should consider yourself lucky as a Yankees fan for dodging that bullet.
I understand valuing slugging the most but average over on base is crazy. Have fun tho Padres fans started existing when Tatis was coming up. Even with the Mets being the lol Mets they aren’t as pathetic as a team with no rings.
Way overpaid, but they don't care because Cohen can afford it. It makes Shohei's contract look like the bargain of the century. Just like AJ said, Shohei can pitch and Judge is a much better fielder. Even if you just look at hitting alone, both Judge and Shohei are way better than Soto. I have looked at his career stats by year, same thing. To be honest, the Yankees should count themselves lucky, if they had to pay Soto $51 mil/year, they would be screwed, they don't have the financial resources that Cohen has.
Even tho ohtani is on the dodgers , as a padres fan I agree with aj that shoehi is more impactful even though Soto is way younger I do believe shoehi is still better, you look at what he did in the regular season and playoffs he got his team a World Series, what did Soto do the Yankees lost , no hate on Soto I absolutely love him I just think ohtani is more impactly because if the dodges are down a pitcher hey don’t worry shoehi can fill in that spot , oh you need a DH , shoehi can do that too i and he can play in the outfield, think it’s Less about how young a player is , it’s about how impact they will be yes age plays a good part of that but ultimately it’s about how much of an impact they make on and off the field
Everybody on here seems to be acting like only the METS offered him stupid money. The Yanks offered him $760 for 16 years and he said nope. Red Sox $700 and nope. I'm a lifetime Mets fan and I too think this deal is a huge overpay, but only time will tell and they're not the only team to think he was worth a ridiculous amount of money.

"is it worth it" literally does not matter. Steve Cohen has more money than god and does not care if he loses money, this is his hobby. He wants to build a legacy and will continue to lose money and having a great time while the rest of the league cries about it.
Soto will never have stats like judge or Ohtani but he's making more money. Doesn't field well at all, has no speed and doesn't know how to run the bases. then the Mets sign Montas and clay Holmes. What a waist.
@@nickmatta9310 Soto at 26 is already a better hitter than Ohtani, and he's not even in his prime yet while Ohtani is on the wrong side of 30 with an elbow held together by spit and chewing gum.

Soto is not worth it period. I dont care how old he is or what his OPS is. Hes a RF who can't play defense and is actually a liability in defense, hes terrible at running the bases, and he has no versatility on the field. He gets on base. Cool, but what happens once he's on base is what matters. Shohei gets on base and steals 2nd and 3rd and Teo/Edman drive him in. Soto gets on base and stays at first until the inning is over more times than not. Insane over pay.
Aj you're the guy for saying it like it is. It's massive overpay for a guy that's not good fielder, not a good base runner and will probably become a dh only before age 30.
this is why chopmeat has gone up cause the owners tell the world its normal a guy chasing a ball is worth almost a billion dollars the agents are ruining baseball and society.
What’s laughable is that people think Soto makes the Mets instant contenders with the Dodgers. Do they realize that there are two teams in their own division that are better than them? The Phillies have one of the best starting pitching staffs in baseball and the Braves when healthy are a top 2 team in baseball. If it weren’t for the expanded wildcard spot the Mets would be fighting to make the playoffs every year
…and to make the playoffs, the Braves were beaten and the first ever playoff meeting between the Mets-Phils went to the Mets. No luck. No baseball gods, just a hungrier team. Philly was top 4 all year long and their fans told the world they would beat the Mets. You only as goo as you finished and nobody (not Atlanta, Philly or the Mets) are the Dodgers.
@ the Braves lost while not have Acuña, Riley, Strider, and Sale. The Phillies bullpen choked but they are still a better team than the Mets. The only team that has a chance to beat the Dodgers is a healthy Braves team
Anyone calling Juan Soto Ted Williams doesn’t know anything about baseball. Ted Williams hit under .316 ONCE in 19 seasons. ONCE. One player doesn’t win you a championship either, especially when the rest of your team is awful. Without Judge behind him pitchers will be much more likely to walk him now or pitch around him to get to the next guy. I’m so happy the Yankees didn’t spend that money on one guy after seeing the A-rod deal, the Ellsbury deal, etc. now they can focus on a couple players to make the entire team better because even with Soto they still lost in game 6. It all comes down to pitching and defense when you get to the playoffs, and Soto can’t pitch, and he definitely can’t play outfield.
My guy you are saying it like: 1) thr Yankees didn’t offer him an extra year and 2) like they are going to spend the money on pitching. I love hearing people like AJ talk now bc he signed with the Mets. Ohtani was worth $700M now but he wasn’t last year. Same questions: DH, not pitching, won’t play the field. He stole 50 bases and didn’t have to play one time in the field. Soto at least goes out there and attempts to play a position. It is not wha the baseball wanted. Hell, his top three teams were NY (both) and Toronto. So if he signs to Toronto he wants to build something and be a leader. He signs with the Yankees he is a generational talent (as he was being called before signing with the Mets). So, as with Ohtani, let him play the game bc all the pundits said the same and then turned around and said the dodgers were even worst for signing the pitcher from japan for over $100M
@ Mets overpaid plain and simple. And I never called him a generational talent lol. He and the media called himself that. And he can’t field or run the bases and will be a DH soon. 800 million for a DH? Come on.
I’m so tired of people not mentioning there’s no guarantee that the Mets even make it out of their division keep on reiterating this so I guess I gotta do it on this one too. You got the Braves you got the Phillies great teams got the Dodgers got the Padres out of the division, but still
Will be interesting to see how his stats will be without judge. Mets do have Linder and Vientos so he will have protection, and Soto should be improving his power as he ages (assuming he is really 26 lol). Not sure why ppl say he is the best pure hitter when he hit “only” .288 avg and wasn’t even the best regular season hitter on his own team (judge). He does walk a lot which is great, but like AJ said, ppl want to see hits/HRs. Ohtani and Judge swing outside the zone to try to do more damage when they can just be more selective, which they would rather not do.
Soto is a good player, yes. However, he is also intensely overrated on a number of levels. I wish the Mets the best of luck here, but they're correct in saying you can't buy a championship.
The biggest loser is the fans. All these huge contract costs will trickle down to parking, tickets, concessions, fan gear and everything else mlb related. Very few teams can even compete for players with prices like this. It isn't good for the game. A salary cap is long over due.
Dominicans 🇩🇴 are huge baseball fans, and with over a million in NYC, signing Juan Soto would drive record stadium attendance, TV ratings, and social media buzz. Hardcore fans would tune in nightly on RUclips, making the $800M investment a no-brainer for the Mets.
I grew up in New York family Mets fan, I moved to Tampa when I was 12 and became a Rays fan and Tampa sports fan. I’m now 31 and the Rays might be taken from us…. I say this as the Mets still have a place in my heart and I still follow them. Happy they got Soto, is this crazy amount of money yes, but in 10 years the amount won’t look as crazy. I remember think Harper at 330 was ridiculous, now it looks like a steal
Soto’s signing bonus plus no deferred money and no extra revenue, makes Ohtani’s $700m contract the most team friendly signing, ever. Amazing! We are witnessing something truly special.
The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal reported in July that Shohei Ohtani was collecting almost $100 million in endorsements "with the potential to exceed that figure."
How many years will it take before the Mets regret the contract's term and amount? Unlike basketball, one player doesn't take you to the championship. Can Soto pitch? He is not even a good defensive player. He'll be DHing in a few years.
It was really a battle for New York. Cohen saw it beyond just the monetary value of Juan Soto the player. He wanted to turn a good portion of Yankees fans into Mets fans. It was a turf war. This is going to cause a migration of fans in terms of viewership and sales. A lot of Dominicans will start rooting for the mets and Puerto Ricans are rooting for Lindor. It was a powerplay in terms of taking over the popularity of the team in the city. He wanted to shift a Yankee dominant NY to a NY where the population of NY fans are more Mets than Yankees thus increasing overall sales by a lot. Hal knew this and thats why the bidding went so high. It's not that Juan Soto's talent is worth 765 million, it's the shift in power and sales for the Mets that comes with the signing of Soto. He was more the symbol of the catalyst of changing a NY that was more Yankees dominant to a Met dominant NY. It was smart. Cohen will get a lot of that money back, a lot of it at the expense of the Yankees overall income, especially for the young kids growing up who will tune in for the next 10 years in the bronx.
People are underestimating the value Soto will have in the New York City market. There are many Hispanics and especially Dominicans that are going to grab his jersey off the racks like hot cakes. He is going to be a NYC icon. They will market him and he will generate hundreds of millions of dollars for the Mets.
Bro, AJ had me dying and he's frwking right. Only dude worth watching even if he walked was Bonds. That's because you knew if a pitch smelled the zone, it was getting crushed. 😂
The era of buying a championship is just about over. Most teams are signing their talented, young players to long-term deals. The average age of first time free agents continues to rise. In three or four years, the best teams will be the ones with the best scouting system.
Worst/Wasted contract in sports history. I’m starting to believe if people are even worth that money 😭😭😭. But 765 million dollars for Juan Soto is absolutely wild. I thought maybe 400-500 million. But 765 million??? That’s ridiculous. In my opinion he is nothing like the skill level of Shohei Ohtani. The reason why Ohtani got a 700 million dollar contract is because he is an all star pitcher and all star hitter. Thats why he got that contract. But in this case, it makes no sense to sign this guy for that much money. Too much money for a player like him.
Um let's see.... He won a championship with Washington in 2019, Went to the playoffs with San Diego in 2022, Hit the home run that took the Yankees to the world series this year... The only reason why he's been on so many teams is because he was traded, he had no choice... As far as him not taking the Nationals offer two years ago, you have to remember that he's been groomed by Scott Boras since the age of 16. The character assassination on this guy is through the roof, ridiculous.
Baseball is a team sport-- there has to be 25 players that can win a world series without paying one of them 765 million dollars! The Yankees dodged a bullet-- spend the cash on the best coaching -- young smart athletic players -- young hurlers with live arms -- play excellent defense -- and kill the other teams with speed on the bsae paths.
Steve Cohen and the Mets will come to regret this contract sooner rather than later. After age 28, 29 his numbers will all be downhill. The Yankees dodged a bullet.
Who cares if Soto walks alot. It’s not like he’s gonna steal a base or two. But I know someone who will steal a base or two after a walk. Oh and he hit fifty homers.

Boras media stooges built the hype and now they all get paid - A+ con job.
Why else would Heyman lose his shit so badly when jokingly asked what his cut was.

Lmfao. You so mad. Mets won't be remotely sorry
Ohtani is literally twice the player that Soto is. I like Soto but he is not worth 50 per. It was obvious this was going to be a huge overpay and Cohen did just that. 50 per year for a 2 maybe 3 tool player... damn!

Ohtani is 70 mil a year

@@mart333The AAV thing is nonsense. The fact is this, Ohtani is receiving $700 million dollars for playing for the Dodgers for 10 years. It’s that simple. The average amount of money he will eventually be paid for playing for the Dodgers is $70 million per year. AAV is just for the luxury tax but the reality is Ohtani is playing for 10 years and he’s being paid $700 million. What does that equal per year? $70 million. Regardless of how long it takes for the money to be paid.
yes, AJ just calling it like it is (while being respectful) while others are being careful to not say the wrong things. much respect to AJ.
Hundred per cent I am going to say it but this contract is a ridiculous amount for a guy who I think has peaked early and won’t hit 40 homers again because he is not in yankee stadium. Compared to ohtani who is worth his contract he isn’t worth that money(Soto)

Ohtani is a gift to mlb.
I'm not like you.
Most these people are Ignorant as a Chimp.
It will
Yeah, think about a healthy Acuna.
Harper isn’t better than Soto
35 HR average, 288 batting average, no MVP, no gold glove, mediocre fielder, no base stealing, one gifted championship by the National when he was a rookie, never won championship after that. Am I missing something here? That ain't great, good but not great.
1 WAR is worth $8 mil. Soto just put up a 8 WAR season. He's worth more than what he got if he keeps up that production.
actually 285 and 28.7 hr average…
.953 OPS just grows on trees? .420 OBP% just grow on trees?
Those HR averages are off due to when he got call up his rookie yr & 60 game season in 2020. He had over 1.000 OPS in that “gifted World Series.”
@@brandondillman5841😂😂 You don't believe that
@@haitiyouyou76 it's not an opinion.

@@wad9799 this was my question which I am curious about too on if there is a breakdown somewhere which shows how judge does against playoff team pitchers during regular season. @LL-tc1re Could be wrong but I think I saw somewhere that over 70% of his homerun came when they were up 3 or more runs
@LL-tc1re with his OBP and walk rate how much Soto gets on base. A bad year is .250 with over a .400 OBP. With how good his eye is I just don't see him falling off drastically at all. @FoulTerritory: best baseball show out there! AJ takes are gold!
Good luck with ever winning anything.

Imagine spending almost a billion dollars on a future DH 💀

What’s laughable is that people think Soto makes the Mets instant contenders with the Dodgers. Do they realize that there are two teams in their own division that are better than them?
You got the Braves you got the Phillies great teams got the Dodgers got the Padres out of the division, but still
I love how people think the Phillies are still in it
Homeboy is a clown. Hating. Five million more…. Isn’t this dude a Yankees fan? Also George Steinbrenner did this over and over again
I expect buyers remorse is already setting in. If it isn't yet, it will be soon.
he's just "Mike Trouted" himself because the Mets are always gonna "Met" 😂
Good hitter , mediocre outfielder , don't steal bases won't have Judge hitting behind him ,wish him luck .
If Soto a one tool player (great hitter) is worth 800 mil... what would Griffey jr be worth today!?!?!? Ridiculous.
Soto is a good player, yes. However, he is also intensely overrated on a number of levels.
I wish the Mets the best of luck here, but they're correct in saying you can't buy a championship.

Mets fans are so delusional…. He went for the money. Thani got 700 but he wanted a great team!

Soto’s signing bonus plus no deferred money and no extra revenue, makes Ohtani’s $700m contract the most team friendly signing, ever. Amazing! We are witnessing something truly special.
Jose Ramirez contract is baseballs most friendly and undervalued.

How many years will it take before the Mets regret the contract's term and amount? Unlike basketball, one player doesn't take you to the championship. Can Soto pitch? He is not even a good defensive player. He'll be DHing in a few years.

As a yankees fan this year having Juan Soto in the lineup makes your team different. He makes the people around him better
You think Yankees fans will become Mets fans because of maybe the 6th/7th best hitter in the game?
Lol drinking your own kool aid
People are underestimating the value Soto will have in the New York City market. There are many Hispanics and especially Dominicans that are going to grab his jersey off the racks like hot cakes. He is going to be a NYC icon. They will market him and he will generate hundreds of millions of dollars for the Mets.
Bro, AJ had me dying and he's frwking right. Only dude worth watching even if he walked was Bonds. That's because you knew if a pitch smelled the zone, it was getting crushed. 😂
Unless he was in the playoffs where he was one of the worst players ever!
I’m a Yankee fan and I am glad they didn’t sign him.
ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, and its all about HIM.. NOT a team player or an impact player. He didn't win in SD and he didn't WIN in NY.
Exactly. 4 teams in 8 years, that tells enough about him. Teams don't miss him once he is gone.
To walk? He hit 41 homeruns
As a left handed hitter at Yankee Stadium… he’ll probably hit 30 next year at Citi field
If Ohtani actually tested free agency and involved the east coast teams, he would’ve had a 70M AAV. LA got a bargain. You can’t fault Soto for that.
People love bringing up 2009 like when was the last time the Mets won 1986? They have just as long of a drought
Mets had $40 million come off the payroll. $11 million is a genius move.
Made his decision in August after the Mets had asskickrd the Yankees 4 times.
*15 years is a dumb contract regardless Soto is not going to be even close to worth it lol*
Never thought I'd actually 100% agree with AJ
It was worth it for Steve Cohen to make a point... Mets are the little brother in NY. He's changing that!
So the second best position player on the Yankees was signed for the biggest contract. Hmmm.
Steve Cohen and the Mets will come to regret this contract sooner rather than later.
After age 28, 29 his numbers will all be downhill.
The Yankees dodged a bullet.
Everybody is s forgetting about Acuna hes prolly the most slept on Superstar player in baseball!
Who cares if Soto walks alot. It’s not like he’s gonna steal a base or two. But I know someone who will steal a base or two after a walk. Oh and he hit fifty homers.
