ReVamp was great. Floor really showed her versatility there. Seen them live a few times, they always killed it. The only regret I have since Floor is in Nightwish now, ReVamp doesn't exist anymore. But there's Dark Horse White Horse, formed by some of the ex-members of ReVamp with Marcela Bovio singing and Arie from Epica on drums (at least for their first EP)

Floor started singing in the band After Forever at age 16 then the band broke up & she started her own band Revamp and was still in Revamp when she Joined Nightwish in 2012.
The 'angry' Floor was a reaction to the break up of her first band 'After Forever' where she predominantly sang high notes. In 'Revamp' she experimented with more different vocal styles within one song such as this one.
Yes Queen Floor loves the hard stuff too. Nothing that woman can't do.
Revamp is created by Floor and she wrote all the music. While she was in Revamp, Nightwish asked her if she could fill in for Annette from Nightwish who was ill....again. She studies in the plane the songs she had to sing. IN the time she was not official in Nightwish, she still played concerts with Revamp. Floor can do everything with her voice. Bizar and supernatural.

This explains why Floor was not well known in the Netherlands before 2019. She was just a bit too wild for the general public.
This is the younger, ANGRY Floor...a lot of her ReVamp songs (which she primarily wrote) were of an angrier vibe, because Floor was going through some shit then.
Floor created ReVamp. It was her baby and her sound. She is a more mellow place now, but back then it was 'take no prisoners'.

Haha, ReVamp was Floor's band before Nightwish. She made that band when her first band, After Forever, disbanded. And you have a clear example of why Tuomas had his eye on her for Nightwish even back then after the Tarja incident... he didn't call her and went with Anette first because ReVamp was very successful at the time and he didn't want to break her band. But later when Anette was out and ReVamp was on a hiatus, he didn't hesitate anymore.
Nope. In 2005 (Tarja incident) Floor was still in her first band "After Forever". After Forever had toured with Nightwish as a support act and out of respect for them, Tuomas did not ask Floor.

Mmh you hear Floor in Nightwish. Yours is an empty hope or Weak Fantacy. There you can see a very angry Floor.
@@itrSIMPLE They did it for the live show, in the studio version the growls are made by the guy. Floor sing the chorus and the opera part. (btw the opera part sound insane with a choir behind in the studio version)
Sorry mate but there is no growling in this performance. What there doing is called Fry Screaming.
