Usually when I did the butterfly lock I’d pull my hair through it. I’ve never used this method. Like you mentioned, this hair is heavy. For that reason I probably wouldn’t go butterfly again
It is heavy but that's expected with the length. Not sure if I may go this log again but the style is definitely cute lol

Don’t ever go this long 😂😂😂. Take it from a working mummy. Love the quality though. Usually always leave my hair down to sleep. If not I put it in a high bun and make sure there is a pillow balance and even out the weight.

How long did this take?
It took about 6 hours max. The sectioning took the longest. Adding the locs took about 2 hours
