Frank Dodge: „Mein erster Gedanke ist, dass das ein enormer Erweiterer ist, die der Kunst die Möglichkeit weiterer Entfaltung und Öffnung gibt. Entfaltung, nachdem endlos zusammengefaltet wurde. Wenn es das zu Beginn geleistet hat, werden wir lernen und es werden verschiedenste Arten von Etuden und andere Strukturen entstehen und schließlich ein Eigenleben entwickeln, in kompositionstheoretischer Hinsicht.“
Frank Dodge ist Musiker und er ist Gründer und künstlerischer Leiter von Spectrum Concerts Berlin, eine gefeierte Institution und ein einzigartiger Konzertlabel für klassische und moderne Musik und für die transatlantischen Querverbindungen in Komposition und Aufführung dieser Musik. Spectrum Concerts hat seine Aufführungsbasis in der berühmten Philharmonie Berlin.

Frank Dodge: "My first feeling about it is, that it is a tremendous enhancer and that it gives the creative world a chance to “entfalten“. To unfold, after doing a lot of folding up, you know? And then, I think by serving this purpose in the beginning it will learn about all kinds of etudes and structural things and then begin to have a life of its own in the sense of compositional theory."
Frank Dodge is musician as well as founder and artistic director of Spectrum Concerts Berlin, an acclaimed and unique label of concerts in classic and modern music and in transatlantic correlations of composing and performing this music. Spectrum Concerts has its performing base in the famous Berlin Philharmonie.
