We have a Samsung refrigerator. Just had the ice maker replaced. We Had the Samsung washer. When brand new it sprayed water in the floor then had a recall for the top flying off.

There are only about 2 manufactures of refrigerators and washers and dryers. They own all the brands and they make them so they will break in about 4 yrs. If the Govt. really did care about the environment like they say they do then they would force them to make them last around 20 yrs. like they used too.

No mention of warranty. Whirlpool makes Whirlpool, Kitchenaid and Maytag. Compressor warranty on Whirlpool and Kitchen Aid, 1 year full, five year sealed cooling parts. Maytag, 10 year compressor.
Samsung would be your biggest mistake. My $2500 stainless steal Samsung refrigerator already has to be replaced. As soon as the warranty expires this thing starts having problem. Massive lawsuit currently going on due to the bad ice makers as well as back panel in refrigerator freezes up. The duel cooling system is a joke because it freezes up behind the panel. Absolutely true! I will never buy another Samsung appliance. I paid to have a leaking icemaker repaired, then had to replace the entire icemaker a year later. And guess what? Now ice keeps forming under the fridge drawers, which is likely the back panel issue mentioned above. Complete garbage.
I am a appliance repair man and repair about 3 Samsung French door refrigerators a week. The back panel freezes and the ice maker freezes over. You couldn't give me a Samsung.

Their washing machines are reliable though. My 7kg frontloader has been with me for 8 years & still working. The only thing I replaced all these years was the drain hose.
I like kitchenaid except 2019 yr models have those door storage bins sit in the flimsy plastic (very thing) holders and to me it did not appear that these holders will be able to hold 2 gallon jugs of milk and juice but over time will break. As far as ice makers - NO fridge brand has a good dispenser (they make the ice just fine) that work. Bad part in 2019 models - when your dispenser doesn't dispense ice, you can't easily get to the ice because it's sealed like diamonds in a museum. Really wish you would review Bosch 800 series or benchmark series fridges. Few stores carry them and no videos show a good view to get an idea what's there and how it works.

Well most people enter our home from the side door and could see almost immediately. When requesting and new door we were informed they could only replace the entire refrigerator. Emptied the refrigerator and freezer into 2 large coolers, two small coolers and one mini refrigerator. When the service/delivery men came they said the could just exchange the door. We spent hours packing and unpacking the refrigerator. Then we started using the refrigerator, the water that came thru the system was Luke warm, and the ice cube setting for cubes gave use partial crushed ice from day one. Joining the lawsuit immediately!!!

Dont buy lg their compressors go out and then it's a paper weight. Lg knows of the problem and sends a free replacement but it's still 400$ or more labor

Really kitchen aid? Well they have nothing but issues with the fresh food defrost cycle. Plus just to get to the evaporator on the fresh food compartment you gotta remove the right side door. That’s not really smart. I’m with Maytag all the way. I know both are make by whirlpool but Maytag is better and cheaper. Out of this list I’ll stay with GE

Frigidaire is not a quality fridge in my opinion. Not very good customer service either when it breaks down and you call them for warranty repairs. Ice maker broke in mine about a year after owning it.
Samsung is crap. Spent 800.00 to fix ice maker. Works when it feels like working. Now the housing unit that holds the filter is broken and Samsung wants 300.00 for the part plus service and installation. The worst fridge I have ever owned. Would never buy anything made by Samsung. Stay away from there products. Most technicians hate working on there so called products. I can’t say anything good about this fridge, and it’s not very old.
angela corbett i have just fixed my 2006 samsung refrigerator with new compressor. it is good i know how to fix refrigerators. i fixed it because i like the front display showing the temperature all the time. having the temperature display on the front is good design. my experience with my samsung refrigerator is it was hard to get samsung parts. the copper tubings are in metric so it is hard to match it.

Lg is terrible. They have a compressor issue and they know it. When your compressor goes out in 2 years they send you a new one for free. Then you get to pay someone like me 500$ to install it. Also they use aluminum evaporator coils that the r22 freon eats away at over time. Stay away from lg and Samsung please.
The appliance guy told me LG n Samsung r the very worse ! Oh n Kenmore , if you look at the first 3 number on the model number it will tell u what company n what country it’s made in! Yep Kenmore are garbage but only if those 2 companies make them ,,, Be sure to verify with the first 3 numbers
Bought a $4,000 LG French Door Refrigerator...DO NOT BUY LG!! We're currently been without refrigerator for about a month because no one can figure out why this POS is not cooling properly. Even after they changed the complete Liner system. Bought it from Conns and luckily its still covered under warranty. This has been a nightmare especially with the Corona virus and living out of 3 ice coolers. Never buying LG again. You been warned

Stay away from Samsung. Bought my Samsung in February 2021. In April had to call for service. Not cooling. Had to pay for new motherboard which they wouldn’t cover. Been having problems since. They decided to give me a full refund which I’m still waiting for. They even offered me a 50% discount. I said no thanks. And there’s a class action lawsuit against them for the ice maker.
I’ve been researching new refrigerators for about a year, the conclusion.....Samsung refrigerators are junk. My personal opinion, GE is the biggest piece of junk since the YUGO.
DON'T BUY LG - LG Refrigerators have a class action law suit against them now due to failing compressors. LG customer service is horrible, many technicians won't repair them. I'm on my 4th compressor and circuit board $400 every time for labor even though parts are covered. Buy another brand!

He's a salesman & going by sales, Samsung is the least reliable fridge! Don't take my word for it check reviews with Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy!
