I've always liked Ciro's art (apparently we're on a first-name basis lol), but I find all the color too busy, too overwhelming for my taste. I bought the sepia version and I adore it, especially the Pentacles. It's got a great old world, old tarot, ancestor feel to it. My one complaint is the cards are too large to shuffle for smaller hands like mine. Thank you for this side-by-side, it was really interesting to see them together like that.
Whilst some cards seem to stand out a little more on the colour version, overall I prefer the sepia tone one. Much nicer card stock too. Thank you for watching Beth.
No that extra one is the 9 of wands that was corrected because the one I. The deck u showed was a misprint. Mine didn't come with that glad they fixed it. In the Sepia one
Thank you for the walk through Simon. I’ve never been interested in Marchetti’s decks before but I like these. Do you think you could pick your favourites from each deck and mix them or is the card stock difference too much?
That's a wonderful Tarot! I think I prefer the muted, but both are great in their own way. Thanks for the walkthrough! Just before this, I was watching a video about The Mystical Keys Set, which contains Tarot, as well as Seals of Solomon and astrological cards. It kind of reminded me of a Kabbalistic version of the Gjallarhorn oracle. I dare say you know about it already, but just thought I'd mention it.
Both of these are beautiful, I don’t know which one to choose 😫 I will have to think about it and probably re watch this, I don’t want to buy both as it would prove quite expensive. I love it though and it will go on my wish list, when I decide colour or muted 😆😍❤️
For me, the muted one wins out. Whilst some of the colour cards help you to see the image more vibrantly, the muted one is more appealing and much nicer card stock too. 🥰
Overall I like the full colour one best but I'd rather have it on the same matte cardstock as the muted one. I'm not a fan of glossy cards. I do love Ciro's art though.
I love the star card! I’m also super conflicted 😅 I love the colour in the original but I also love the muted toned deck. 🙈 I might have to get both but not this month 😅
Both beautiful. I think I prefer the muted colors. It adds a bit more of that vintage feel that works well with the style of the artwork.

I love both deck's Simon.Gonna have to remortgage my flat to buy all the lovely new decks out at the moment 😊
Oh no! 😝

I have the muted and love it
You'll see the nice touch of the Fool and his dog walking in The World card as well ^_^

Very different, the thickness, and the difference between gloss and matte
I think out of the big authors, Ciro is the one I like the least
I think if I’d go to a reading and it was the cards I would just walk away lol

I will check it out. Thank you, David
@@the_hermits_cave The channel I saw it at was: "Words With A Twist".

That’s a good point. I don’t understand their decision.

I totally get it! 🥴
I definitely prefer the vintage type version over the color
I prefer the vintage version. It is more in keeping with the feel of the artistry.
