This is probably one of the best strat sounds i have ever heard, ....... No ice picks within earshot, great demo thankyou, oh, the amp aint bad either. 🙂👍🇬🇧
Hey Matt, sounds great. An affordable and versatile 15 watt Tube Combo. I have an Egnater Tweaker Combo that is similar (15 watt, 2x6V6 tubes, but no reverb). Thanks again Pete
I have the MONOPRICE Stage Right 15 version that is a copy of this Laney amp! It DOESN'T sound quite as good as this 1, but it's still nice. The speaker isn't as good, (it has a C 70/80!) It has a slightly different tone stack with a presence control on it, plus it distorts way sooner than the Laney! Once the gain is around 3 on the dial, it is already CRUNCHY! I bought a set of lower gain valves for it to give it more headroom, but I don't think I'll bother, & keep them for my BT50 so I can put the gain up higher and not have it as compressed sounding! The SR15 does sound pretty GOOD thru my LORANTS speaker boxes, but it's still not amazing! Got the ONLY 1 in Australia! Was sent the US power version only! Plus it came BROKEN, so I got it for FREE! When I get around to doing a proper demo of it I will flip it! ALSO, it comes with a REAL, Accutronics reverb tank!
@@thepedalpicassos I got a few off the cuff clips on my channel, from a few years ago. I just don't have the time or space to do regular vids as I am still fixing up the house, & I have a house mate atm.
It’s not as loud as a blues junior… and it sounds like it has a lot more bass and a much more warm around the sound! I think it probably has to do with the fact that this has a very good quality speaker in it!
The Cub series amps are great sounding (fender blk face )amps esp. the Cub 10/12 amp the 10 original had 2-6V6 power, sounds more like a Fender than many fenders

How would you compare this to a Blues Jr? Does it have the "small" combo sound? Ie the boxieness
