Haaland is the very least of City’s problems. It’s getting conpleteky torn apart in transition and having no width with the likes of Silva, Grealish, Savinho, and Walker constantly cutting the ball back and never providing first time service. Their patterns of play have become far too predictable with Doku not taking players on and De Bruyne not playing aggressive first time balls on the underlap to Haaland before opposition back lines get set.

Stop being silly with all that Rodri nonsense. One man doesn't make a team. This crisis is to do with many things. I think the main one is the feeling around the club that they will get relegated because of the over 100 charges brought against them by the authorities for breaking financial fair play rules. Mass injury was the perfect excuse to blame for the mental fog these players were/are in. Even Guardiola is worried about the prospects of being in a lower league. That energy gets absorbed by the team. If they get relegated, it will surely affect their salaries. Those who will want to leave will have to live with the ethics of doing so. These players are already thinking about next year and beyond. They've checked out of this season. You can take that to the bank.
It doesn't prove Guardiola is a fraud. It just shows how important mental health is. If you are worried about the future and are anxious, you can't focus on the present. And it will show in your work.

    • @definitely_not_nick41

@@orggro7988 sure it’s not just Rodri, I can get behind that, but without him, the team lacks the chemistry and confidence. KDB is slowly declining and Kovacic is just ok. Rodri is a leader and without him, there’s a lack of leadership or a power struggle

Kulu, Son, Solanke, Werner, all with assists. Only forward to get a goal was Brennan who tapped in. It seems the forwards are the key to effective playmaking. Seems elementary but Ange relies on the backs to build up play . This game was contrary to that it seems to me.
