Cost doesn't matter to Israel because they don't pay for any of this, their Suger daddy the US gives them free billions of dollars so they can turn around and buy these systems from the US, it's endless free money
@@gior987 i think criticism is great and i encourage it. but the people who are commenting this early are just saying anything and they dont know what they’re criticizing because their fingers fly to the keyboard before they start thinking
Iran has ballistic missiles and they have cruise missiles and drones. Cruise missiles and drones take hours to get to their target, at least from Iran to Israel. A Ballistic missile is much more complicated to stop if you can't intercept them when they launch or when they are in space because it takes seconds for it to return from orbit and strike the target. Iran could also use their airforce to assist in firing a cruise missile at a higher speed which would be harder to catch once it's launched but they'd need to find airspace to fly through undetected. Also I think it's important to note what is likely to be hit, Iran is not likely to target residential buildings, west bank which is between Jordan and Israel border, or Golan, They're probably going to target hard to replace shipping infrastructure along the coast of the Mediterranean that often takes months to years to repair or target Israeli military airfields. So with all that in mind, if they are going to launch a serious strike most likely it will come with a ballistic missile. Edit: also moments after posting this there are reports from analysts that basically confirm Iran is likely to use balistic missiles if they were to strike.
which is dumb, they have played the one card they have. Once Israel adjusts its defences accordingly and then strikes back, they won't have any effective retaliation means.
@@gior987 "...Once Israel adjusts its defences accordingly... " lols it take yrs to upgrade air defense systems with new capabilities ! by the time they adjust to it the opponent would develop more potent armaments ! that's why air defense is at least one step behind of offensive weapons most of the times !
I cannot believe he really went with the "striking military targets in populated cities is bad" angle. Is he stupid? Does he not even think about what he says for one second?
WHY is nobody talking about the missiles being empty? It seems from videos they weren't carrying warheads, why is nobody mentioning it, it's like 12 hours later? It looks like a massive humiliation operation. Not to cause actual damage, but to show that Iran CAN cause actual, catastrophic damage, should it want to - because it is also clear that most of the missiles could not have been intercepted, simply because even the best technology isn't particularly good at intercepting hypersonic missiles. So it was a barrage of nearly 200 empty missiles, most of which hit ground, i.e. got through the defenses. Also for people laughing about the "inaccuracy" - if carrying warheads, these missiles can afford to miss a target by half a kilometer, the target would still get flattened, just saying...

I’m aware this sounds so alien compared to *gestures all of human history* but I just don’t understand how anyone can inflict this much suffering and murder. Iran had every right to retaliate after all the lives Israel has taken it’s just so sad it’s come to this.

Yep, real shit. Humans are so unfortunately terrible to each other. I have no idea if humanity will survive to be able to live in space one day or not, but it always seems more and more unlikely. The "great filter" seems like it's ourselves self-destructing.
The hypocrisy of the western media is getting on my nerves 2:20
what’s funny is that israel literally does what they claim hamas does (ie human shields)
Why aren't any human shields in Israel??? This is what I have learned when military infrastructure is present in civilian zones.
That just means Israel is using human shields why else would you put military infrastructure in civilian centers 🤔

Thank you for your reminders and warnings. I felt certain feelings, but I could not justify them after hearing about continuing attacks on Palestine, Syria and Yemen. I will constantly remind myself and others: we must become allergic to destruction for vainglorious ends.

I live in Jordan I’m so horrified bro I feel like there’s a chance shit might escalate especially if we defy our foreign policy and take a side
Okay idk if this helps but I'm German and I know one of the safest places in Europe during the world wars was Switzerland. Right next to Germany. Because they were neutral and not taking sides (but ready to defend their borders if needed)

Israel was founded to keep Jewish people safe, to be a place without discrimination against Jews. All what Netanyahu does, is the opposite of that. How is attacking Lebanon and Gaza helping? How is settler colonialism helping? The idea of Israel is lost and the far right actors on all sides are winning. It is so depressing. Everything.
If Israel bombed a US building, said there were Hhhhhhhhhhamasssss in there, would Biden do anything? Would anyone do anything? I wonder.

Organized religion is ultimately a plague to humanity, in my opinion. If we can survive these ethical issues, it’ll probably weed itself out of common thought generationally
But yet they control the western morality and thought.
Iran also didn’t even hit population centers it was just military sites
I am impressed by how responsible Iran is being
If I was a nationalist Israeli, I’d be pretty freaked out about the sheer amount of fighting in multiple directions lobbing and dodging missiles
These were hypersonic ballistic missiles, they are not intercepted by Iron Dome, which is short range, but the Arrow system, which flies high and long range. One arrow system interceptor costs like several million dollars, lmao. While the Iranian missiles would cost like 100K to make.

Israel: "wait wait wait, Let me tell you something! LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING!!!"
3:07 what is he even saying ?
@@gior987 keep telling yourself that Hasbara bot 😂
They already used ballistic missiles.
@@gior987 "...Once Israel adjusts its defences accordingly... "
lols it take yrs to upgrade air defense systems with new capabilities ! by the time they adjust to it the opponent would develop more potent armaments ! that's why air defense is at least one step behind of offensive weapons most of the times !

I heard countless explosions these were actual warheads
What videos have you seen that show the the missiles being empty. I am really curious
