Ooo i love the engraving 😁 I won't lie, I still use a Bob long when I play recreationally, but mine has the original V1 body but I changed everything else out including the frame and engine to make it function electronically and mechanically like a vis with a OLED frame and vis engine. If my team wasn't sponsored by Planet Eclipse and I had a choice, I would use nothing but my vis. Best marker platform I have ever owned and played with in my opinion.
i dont get something...how were only 200 made but ANS now has more to sell with dust bodies and gloss black parts? And was there 200 made of each colorway? I swear I remember a guy getting #4 on PbN when they were first released
@@Damitsall I would if I had either of them. The early rippers were made to original specs. The T Rex that came later used overseas proprietary parts that were hard to come by until B.L.A.S.T Legacy started making them last year. They also used a slightly different trigger frame indicated by the trigger guard. The earlier frames had a fatter guard than the later ones.
Your video is excellent! I was thinking about purchasing a hk ripper. There seems a lot of places to fail in that marker. Has it been reliable for you?
If I'm being honest there are better options out there in the same price range. I was constantly fixing leaks and pressure issues with mine and ended up trading it off. However when it worked it worked very well. My experience with mine can't really speak for all of these markers though
Check the front o ring in the front can that seals against the ram shaft. If needed pull the o ring out, use dow55 in the o ring groove and put the o ring back or replace it with a brand new one and grease over the o ring. Make sure LPR pressure is good and that the HPR isn't exceeding 200psi
@@TinkersKustomPaintball Thanks for the reply. It's strange, I've changed every oring, one at a time to see if I could catch which one. I have the pressure tester and have it dialed. Still getting the leak. Might need to use it for a day and see if it seals up. Thinking it's the front can outter orings. Spare bag sticker says 021 nbr70 and my oring chart measures it as #19.
@@BRZDR My kit had a lot of mislabeled sizes as well, I usually find I had to let mine sit for a bit and let the 55 swell the seals a bit before the leak would stop, I also forgot to mention to check the delrin donut o ring behind the BLAST guide. That o ring can cause some leaks as well. Hopefully this helps.
I still use a bob long VIs and ever since I put this gun together since it was a custom build of an old V1 that I changed out the frame and engine, I have used nothing but a mid pressure tank and have almost never had a problem even after 1 million shots.

Perfect timing
If you have experience with the Bob Long Marq Victories, can you do a video showing the differences between the Bob Long ones and the HK made ones?

@TinkersKustomPaintball Isn't this a Bob Long one in the video? I know it came in an HK case but I can see it has all the Bob Long parts on it.
nice vid.
