Thats not what happened. the reason why this occured is because of Zoeys baggage (broken heart and sentiment tokens are flipped). when the match was made for Lola, she got a broken heart and was upset so the game switches to Zoey. As soon as that happened, a sentiment match was made for zoey, making her upset. while yes that is true, the game still doesnt truly detect sentiment as broken hearts despite zoeys baggage
@@OasisMusicOfficial Oh yeah, I know. But the issue is that the sentiment tokens are behaving like broken hearts, so by that logic, it should prevent that from happening. The entire point of the system being there is to prevent girls from getting upset unpredictably. To not have it extend to cases where broken hearts and another token type switch roles makes it feel inconsistent and kind of defeats the point.

Here would be the ULTIMATE bad luck in HuniePop 2: You match 3 Tokens vertically at the top of the Date Grid, only for TWO sets of three Broken Heart Tokens to fall into their place! I've a feeling that this might happen to me someday...

This happened on normal, due to a combination of extremely bad luck and Zoeys water phobia baggage.
That's very strange. My first playthrough was also on normal, but I've never gotten broken hearts on the first move.
