I’ve been through it and now I’m at a point where having friends don’t really matter to me as long as I’m moving forward in life I’m good. Especially when it was situations you let slide and felt like you could never talk about. One of the biggest things I learned is to always allow myself to put my feelings first I been in friendships where i put up with things I shouldn’t of I was mentally tired, and a lot of things really hurt my feelings and I lost myself trying to be the best of friend I could be. Having a big heart will really make us go through some things and I love how you allowed every situation to build you and you learned from it instead of becoming bitter and holding on to it in a way that wouldn’t have been healthy. You are amazing and I really hope that someday you find a great friend god sent. I truly believe we all need good friends at least one good one but seriously nothing is worth putting up with that hurts us fr. Jazzy my love this touched me . I stopped talking to someone who I thought was my best friend for years she is my also sons god mother we grew up together in church knew her since I was 13. Last August I had to step back and regroup after a final situation with her just clicked like this person and this situation means you no well..Its never been like your situation with men and sneaking behind my back or anything but it was a lot of foolishness back hand shade, neagativity and just overall a trauma bond. I stayed in the friendship after constantly knowing she playing in my face but I felt bonded I felt obligated because she really has been there for me she was the one who encouraged me when I couldn't encourage myself but followed right up with shade I could not understand . But now going through Therapy I realize so much about me and the way I interact with people and why. I shared a bit of my story on my page but now this has inspired me to just tell my whole story about her and my situation thank you and good luck on building friendships of substance and reciprocation I now focus on friends who mean me well and I don't have to question them or wonder xo

Your story reminds me so much of my story. I grew up with a girl since we were in first grade (6 yrs old). Since day 1 of meeting her she was my sister. I loved her sooo much. Im an only child do she was my everything. We stayed hip to hip up until mid 12th grade year (17 yrs old) of high school. She did something to me that was so traumatic that year I to this day have no friends and cant trust no one because of her. I really thought that i was over what she did but as im typing this im boohoo crying which tells me at the age of 40 that I have not healed from what happened 23 years ago. I dont think to this very day she knows how much she hurt me. Its very lonely not having that 1 person who you can call your BEST FRIEND....or any friends honestly. I pray things turn out better for you

I have two close friends, one it’s been about 20 years, the other 17 years. That’s about it. We don’t hangout as often because we’re busy. Sorry this is long but I'll try to keep it as short as possible. This reminds me of a girl I once called my best sister friend also( let's call her Sara). We knew each other's families, many mutual friends, our boys flings, deep dark secrets and promised to never tell anyone else. She was the only person I could change in front of and felt comfortable with and vice versa. She even made a pack with me( being only 18 at the time) that if we didn't have a steady relationship by age 30 we'd try being in a relationship together. ( I'm sorry if that sounds weird but that's how close we were and wanted to be each other's lover so we wouldn't be alone. I apologize if it sounds offensive as that's not my intentions. I'm speaking my truth.) We spent the night at each other's houses all the time and went on vacations. She even called me one time at 5am before her shift to tell me she was scared she may get pregnant because she had unprotected sex the night before with her fling. So what did I do as a sister? I drove to a 24 hour CVS half asleep in pjs, bought Plan B and some water, drove to her house and had her take the Plan B pill. She then cried in my arms for a good 20 mins and I let her while we were outside because we were in college still living at home and her mom would kill her if she found out. We knew each other since the 9th grade and were ride or die sisters for life well beyond past the 8 years of friendship. But things changed about 6 months before she graduated college in 2016. I noticed she showed up to my birthday dinner late, like an hour. She's always on time for my events and vice versa even if we worked. When she finally came she saw the whole room in Friday's was filled with my party of over 30 people. My friends, my family some she hadn't met yet came down, some of my mom's friends, my god mother and extended family. She got jealous cause her demeanor changed and my mom said she saw it. Soon after my birthday dinner, she rekindled a best friend she had in middle school. They stopped speaking after 8th grade because of some other friend and I soon saw that that friend was trying to replace me as Sara's best friend. Sara would then talk about this friend a lot and say they're rekindling quite fast for had not been talking for almost 7 years. My mom saw Sara changing and warned me, but I made excuses for her too saying no Sara is my sister. She wouldn't hurt me. Fast forward to my mom finding out Sara broke in our house and squatted with a guy friend of ours while we weren't at home. Sara knew my schedule as we went to college together, carpooled and worked at CVS with me working less hours than her. She found out our door code as she's taller than me and can see over my shoulder. Soon after graduation she moved to Missouri and things haven't been the same since. The night she came over to say "good bye" was the night I knew my mom was right about her. She stayed maybe a hour but it wasn't the same as before my birthday dinner. She became more forceful, passive aggressive and it felt awkward. I really just wanted her to leave but was scared to say anything. I found out the replacement was going to drive her to the airport on snapchat and Sara never asked me to join them. I felt like I didn't know her anymore. I finally realized Sara had changed so much since that other girl came in the pic. I went driving after she left and just cried the whole time. We are now estranged. She's never told me her address and I was suppose to visit her but she made up excuses why I couldn't after I bought my plane ticket. But the replacement friend knew everything from Sara's new address to her new job, her dating and everything. When Sara comes back to town she doesn't contact me to meet up like she used to. Yet I see pics of her with the replacement friend on Facebook/ Instagram when she comes back to town. The communication diminished to now we only talk to say Happy Birthday to each other. Maybe she randomly sends me a reel that relates to a past memory. I'm sorry if this is long but I just want to say thank you Jazzy for expressing yourself about loosing a "best friend." We need a release so we can start heeling. Sometimes we think people who we consider our best friends are just a devil in disguise and will one day show you who they truly are. The writing is on the wall you just need to read it. When we release and get rid of the dead weight and can free ourselves from toxicity we had been holding onto for so long. Jealousy is a disease to never underestimate. I'm glad to see Jazzy is allowing herself to meet people and make friends if it happens. I've been trying to do the same. We fought when I was younger once (I was 15 she was like 20) and she hit me with a coffee cup in the face because she lost a small sister tussle! Years later I felt bad for her because she was on her 3rd kid with the third deadbeat, and I have a financially successful husband I’ve been with since we were 15 so I tried to help and be there for her. She was hating bad on me for some reason, then I found out she had tried to sleep with our moms husband then we found out she tried to sleep with our other sisters husband. I’ve been through it and now I’m at a point where having friends don’t really matter to me as long as I’m moving forward in life I’m good. Especially when it was situations you let slide and felt like you could never talk about. One of the biggest things I learned is to always allow myself to put my feelings first I been in friendships where i put up with things I shouldn’t of I was mentally tired, and a lot of things really hurt my feelings and I lost myself trying to be the best of friend I could be. Having a big heart will really make us go through some things and I love how you allowed every situation to build you and you learned from it instead of becoming bitter and holding on to it in a way that wouldn’t have been healthy. Jazzy my love this touched me . I stopped talking to someone who I thought was my best friend for years she is my also sons god mother we grew up together in church knew her since I was 13. Last August I had to step back and regroup after a final situation with her just clicked like this person and this situation means you no well..Its never been like your situation with men and sneaking behind my back or anything but it was a lot of foolishness back hand shade, neagativity and just overall a trauma bond. I stayed in the friendship after constantly knowing she playing in my face but I felt bonded I felt obligated because she really has been there for me she was the one who encouraged me when I couldn't encourage myself but followed right up with shade I could not understand . But now going through Therapy I realize so much about me and the way I interact with people and why. I shared a bit of my story on my page but now this has inspired me to just tell my whole story about her and my situation thank you and good luck on building friendships of substance and reciprocation I now focus on friends who mean me well and I don't have to question them or wonder xo

Your story reminds me so much of my story. I grew up with a girl since we were in first grade (6 yrs old). Since day 1 of meeting her she was my sister. I loved her sooo much. Im an only child do she was my everything. We stayed hip to hip up until mid 12th grade year (17 yrs old) of high school. She did something to me that was so traumatic that year I to this day have no friends and cant trust no one because of her. I really thought that i was over what she did but as im typing this im boohoo crying which tells me at the age of 40 that I have not healed from what happened 23 years ago. I dont think to this very day she knows how much she hurt me. Its very lonely not having that 1 person who you can call your BEST FRIEND....or any friends honestly. Sorry this is long but I'll try to keep it as short as possible. This reminds me of a girl I once called my best sister friend also( let's call her Sara). We knew each other's families, many mutual friends, our boys flings, deep dark secrets and promised to never tell anyone else. She was the only person I could change in front of and felt comfortable with and vice versa. She even made a pack with me( being only 18 at the time) that if we didn't have a steady relationship by age 30 we'd try being in a relationship together. ( I'm sorry if that sounds weird but that's how close we were and wanted to be each other's lover so we wouldn't be alone. I apologize if it sounds offensive as that's not my intentions. I'm speaking my truth.) We spent the night at each other's houses all the time and went on vacations. She even called me one time at 5am before her shift to tell me she was scared she may get pregnant because she had unprotected sex the night before with her fling. So what did I do as a sister? I drove to a 24 hour CVS half asleep in pjs, bought Plan B and some water, drove to her house and had her take the Plan B pill. She then cried in my arms for a good 20 mins and I let her while we were outside because we were in college still living at home and her mom would kill her if she found out. We knew each other since the 9th grade and were ride or die sisters for life well beyond past the 8 years of friendship. But things changed about 6 months before she graduated college in 2016. I noticed she showed up to my birthday dinner late, like an hour. She's always on time for my events and vice versa even if we worked. When she finally came she saw the whole room in Friday's was filled with my party of over 30 people. My friends, my family some she hadn't met yet came down, some of my mom's friends, my god mother and extended family. She got jealous cause her demeanor changed and my mom said she saw it. Soon after my birthday dinner, she rekindled a best friend she had in middle school. They stopped speaking after 8th grade because of some other friend and I soon saw that that friend was trying to replace me as Sara's best friend. Sara would then talk about this friend a lot and say they're rekindling quite fast for had not been talking for almost 7 years. My mom saw Sara changing and warned me, but I made excuses for her too saying no Sara is my sister. She wouldn't hurt me. Fast forward to my mom finding out Sara broke in our house and squatted with a guy friend of ours while we weren't at home. Sara knew my schedule as we went to college together, carpooled and worked at CVS with me working less hours than her. She found out our door code as she's taller than me and can see over my shoulder. Soon after graduation she moved to Missouri and things haven't been the same since. The night she came over to say "good bye" was the night I knew my mom was right about her. She stayed maybe a hour but it wasn't the same as before my birthday dinner. She became more forceful, passive aggressive and it felt awkward. I really just wanted her to leave but was scared to say anything. I found out the replacement was going to drive her to the airport on snapchat and Sara never asked me to join them. I felt like I didn't know her anymore. I finally realized Sara had changed so much since that other girl came in the pic. I went driving after she left and just cried the whole time. We are now estranged. She's never told me her address and I was suppose to visit her but she made up excuses why I couldn't after I bought my plane ticket. But the replacement friend knew everything from Sara's new address to her new job, her dating and everything. When Sara comes back to town she doesn't contact me to meet up like she used to. Yet I see pics of her with the replacement friend on Facebook/ Instagram when she comes back to town. The communication diminished to now we only talk to say Happy Birthday to each other. Maybe she randomly sends me a reel that relates to a past memory. I'm sorry if this is long but I just want to say thank you Jazzy for expressing yourself about loosing a "best friend." We need a release so we can start heeling. Sometimes we think people who we consider our best friends are just a devil in disguise and will one day show you who they truly are. The writing is on the wall you just need to read it. When we release and get rid of the dead weight and can free ourselves from toxicity we had been holding onto for so long. Jealousy is a disease to never underestimate. I'm glad to see Jazzy is allowing herself to meet people and make friends if it happens. I've been trying to do the same.
