Hey a question, so the next thing in March is booked up, so does that mean rooms or meeting space, if i stayed with a friend close by could i go to the info sessions for a price? PEACE!!!
Let me just say that Toyota in the background is the most awesome vehicle available in C.R. We had one in Honduras and you simply could go anywhere in it and it never broke down. Good video.
Good morning 🌺 yes, a bit of interference, but things happen... Thanks for all of your hard work. This is just the kind info that many folks are interested in (even me), and will be of great interest to them ! 🌺
yeah, I totally dropped the ball on the mic thing, I should have caught it....... Yeah, exactly why I wanted to make the video. As always, thanx for commenting.
I am curious if the videographer can hear the video sound track during production? It would have been so easy to remedy the necklace microphone deal, I am not trying to be negative but I see this all the time on lots of videos on various channels where one persons mike you can barely hear, or vids made on a windy day with no wind socks. Thanks for the vid.
This sounds similiar to what we're wanting to do here on the side of Volcan Miravalles. No tours here at ours... plenty of those all around us. But nice riverside camping/glamping, low key, very chill for all types of vehicles and wild camping.
Michael, caught his comment about ' it was originally going to be an old folks community' ... was he referring to the same community that you had a video on?
The property was originally Johnny's and he had a dream of using it for the 'old folks community' but he found a better and current location close to La Fortuna and sold this one to Jason. So you were close lol
Wow that was fascinating! Hummmm…. Attracting retirees is still a good idea because they have move disposable income. You just gotta investigate doctors and hospitals in La Fortuna. See if you have a neighbor nurse that could be part of the future project. Retired people can live simply as long as they know they have access to medical advice in case of need. They have the time and interest in communal gardening and dining. You have the right space. Now you just gotta make the right moves. Rooting for you.
Those kind of properties are everywhere, you would have no problem finding something. I have not been working on our real estate channel for quite awhile now and don't think I will be getting back to it anytime soon.
Great Video, Michael! The way things are going, he’s got The Best Place to Bug Out, To! I am very Concerned about America, right now, as The Devil messes with the best laid plans. John Lennon said it best- “ Life is what happens while we’re Busy, making Plans!”
I definitely share your concern... and Lennon was right. I think it's time people take their future back and not hope and for government to help you out. The time is now.
i have some land in pinilla Guanacaste. Looking for reasonably priced architect or builder for a casita and a 2 bed house w/small pool and laundry room. Also, would anyone buy the teak that's currently on the lane?

Bought my land 5 years ago and it has tripled in value. Guess it all depends on where you buy and how much you pay. No gringo pricing for me because I bought from a gringo. Gringo pricing is discrimination, but there are no laws against that. Even a lot of the Tico’s who pride themselves on the “Pura Vida” will not hesitate to gringo price you.
I do appreciate your comment and perspective but gringo pricing isn't discrimination, it's the fault of the buyer. Gringo pricing, although called many other things, happens everywhere in the world. buyer beware.
"And it has tripled in value" Thanks for bringing Canada/US land hoarding culture to Costa Rica and driving prices up.

Land hoarding? You aren’t very smart. It’s the hordes that have descended since I moved here that have drove prices up. No worries, I will sell and move away from the massive influx of gringos and go to the mountains next. @@Dholi1

Well, we agree to disagree. Gringo pricing exists because they raise prices for gringos. Now, if you get to know the locals and they see you are becoming part of the area you live 8n, you will get better pricing. But gringo pricing 8s indeed discrimination , if you did that to black, brown, or other people in the US it would be called discrimination, here? It’s just accepted. @@TravelCostaRicaNOW
@@TravelCostaRicaNOW It’s absolutely racism! So if I just decided to charge Ticos or all brown-skins more, you would be cool with that? Would you really? I doubt that.
nope. Any comment in particular? Nothing is in my 'waiting for approval' ..... and they only go there if you throw in cuss words etc. (which I personally don't care) or email addresses.
interesting, I didn't cuss (edit: maybe its because this is a new account.)anyways I actually sent you something asking about nomad America rentals and then you posted this video which reminded me that you hadn't replied yet😅, ill be down there the week after the resort @@TravelCostaRicaNOW

I know. I know. The clicking of his mic against his necklace. My apologies. It sucks but it's not super annoying so I decided to post it. perdon.
It's ok. I might have to stay at his property, do yoga and meditate to clear my brain of the clanking. lol
You suck, but really, that was an awesome interview, very well done some good info, Ticos will nick your stuff, PEACE!!!

IMO what's needed is videos showing affordable apt and home rentals and affordable tico vehicles with contact info..

@michellephilips8087 idk, I went to the retreat last March, I think your best bet is through Matt. Just tell him that the link didn't work 🌺
Nice, he's got big plans for the property
yeah, it is. Be fun watching it grow.
Michael, question...I want something like what he has as far as property. Is that part of your services?
