I am glad you finally had the courage to divorce your husband and make you and your health a priority. When a guy marries a niam yau ces nws yeej tsis hlub koj lawm os. Don't uv and suffer. Just let him go. Let's get rid of the saying niam loj siab zoo. Hopefully our millennial generation learn from this and find happiness for themselves instead of caring so much about reputation.

Everybody has a limit. You've reached yours however it took you to have health issues in order to move on and it shouldnt have gotten to that point. Women need to stop being ua siab ntev and uv lawv to txiv just to prove to everyone that lawv yog tu poj niam zoo. Koj tseem yog thiab tsis yog los nobody live ur life...they dont know ur struggles and they dont care. Self love and self care is so important. Happiness is within yourself, not from someone else. Glad u move on. Now stay that way and dont go back when and if that txiv dev beg u to.

Please stop telling womyn who’s in this situation or any bad relationship situation to siab tev or be patient. If the role is reversed, I’m sure no one can do the same.

In this day and age, you don’t need to stay in that marriage anymore. Polygamy is against the law in the US. Love yourself and take charge of your life.

In today's world, if you still live in the niam loj niam yau's life, it's your choice. You can live without the man. Don't worry what will happen when you die. Don't need to go to the same place as where he goes when you die. You will be happier and healthier without him

Sorry sister for what you have gone through however you did it upon yourself. Should’ve left him a long time ago… when a man no longer love you, you need to love yourself and be brave and LEAVE. I wished you would’ve seek for help or self love a long time ago. Love yourself first.

Leej twg hais tias uv tsis tuag no nas. Tuag taus hos. Best think of yourself and what’s best for you and not because you are a good person. If you are such a good person, the husband weren’t had married a 2nd wife. Should have left when he married the 2nd wife.

Sister, I am so sorry to hear about your toxic marriage. This is one reason why I struggle with certain aspects of Hmong culture-some people still cling to outdated traditions and try to impose them in today's world. I find it particularly hard to understand why some still think polygamy is acceptable. I'm glad you took your doctor's advice and started prioritizing your well-being. Many people forget that stress can contribute to numerous health issues, some of which can be fatal. Chronic stress negatively impacts our mental, emotional, and physical health, and no one is worth enduring that kind of suffering. It's wonderful to hear that you left that toxic marriage and are now doing much better. I hope you continue to take care of yourself and may God bless you on your journey. Remember, self-care is essential, and if you don't take care of yourself, no one else will. Thank you for sharing your story-I'm happy to know it had a positive outcome.

Congratulations! I’m so proud of you. You have saved yourself from a heart attack, stroke or from taking medication or drinking just to numb the pain. The word “uv tsis tuag” that’s a lie. Uv ntau ces tuag tiag tiag li. Whether you are a woman or a man if your spouse chose someone else over you, that mean they don’t love you anymore so please, please love yourself first. Kuv tsis hlub yus tus kheej, tsis muaj leej twg hlub yus. Good health to you, tus niam tsev. 👏
