    Suggestion : For Brigitte, add a UI element that shows how many teammates are being healed by Inspire, like Lúcio's Aura. While we're at it, add a UI element that shows your teammates that you are being healed by Inspire, like in the season 11 creator patch

      That's now how inspire works, it's not like Lucio aura, its a wave that spawns around you when you do DMG. You don't want an indicator for how many people you're healing because it would just be annoying, especially when the area is so huge if they're on your line of sight you're probably healing them

    Suggestion: When Mercy is Rezing a teammate have her pull out a damn air horn or a megaphone and scream “I AM RESURRECTING” because lord knows I didn’t realize they stopped healing to pull someone or worse just trying to rez someone in the open when I could have assisted them by peeling or something.
    Bonus: give Ana the ability to run like 76, because it would be funny to see the only characters that can run being Grandma and Grandpa.

      I do like the idea of Ana having out of combat speed boost that activates instantly off landing sleep dart I think it fixes a lot of her pain points as a hero without making her unreasonable

    Suggestion: Make Mei's Ice Wall and Cryofreeze slightly see-through (like glass) for the ally team. It should be just see-through enough so that you can still tell there is an ally ice wall there. It is still opaque for the enemy team.

    I think the better change for Ram's vortex would be to improve the projectile speed or make it an insta-deploy like his shield. It feels impossible to hit fast moving targets (Lucio, Doom, Mercy) and ends being more area denial when it feels intended to be a proactive CC/disabling ability

      Yeah I'd prefer them to swap the shield and vortex targeting, shield is awkward and super easy to accidentally cast in the wrong spot

      Vortex is better at picking off out of position dps or support. Throw it first, then damage them and when they try to escape they cant

    Suggestion: Bring back the old voicelines. The game's flavor dialogue for abilities and hero selections were all changed in OW2, and they all become much more generic, less iconic. Especially Cass's flash, Rein's charge and Doomfist's rocket punch. No need to remove the new ones, but atleast add the old ones back into the pool, or maybe make it tied to old skins.

    Suggestion: It's about time Blizzard fixes the old ping bug where it says "I'm going in" when you press "fall back", which is the total opposite. I have "fall back" bound to a key as a support main (along with other pings) and multiple times a week it will instead say "I'm going in" when I least expect. My theory is that if I happen to be looking at an enemy, then it will change the ping since it normally puts a dot on the map. But this leads to sending the wrong message and definitely feels like it shouldn't do this...

      Same thing with "I'm with you" and "group up" being in the same button press. You may want to ping "group up" but you also have to not look at a teammate otherwise you say "I'm with you" instead. I gotta make myself to look at the floor sometimes

    Mercy damage boost should appear under Mercys attack. If a mercy is getting a lot of damage boost in it doesn’t show on the scoreboard. It would be nice to be able to damage boost without needing to worry about team mates getting mad about lower healing numbers on the scoreboard.

      I am on the fence with this, because it could cause flaming for not pocketing for the biggest numbers, whether you are pocketing someone who one shots doesnt spam shields or is just a dps missing shots on an off day.
      Maybe we just need to address player toxicity in new ways because the scoreboard emboldens too many people to flame.

      Nah, if you're in a rank where people are flaming you because you aren't healing enough on mercy aint no way a fake damage stat would help, they are just flaming you because you are playing mercy

    Suggestion: Make Sombra's Stealth feel good to use, but not annoying for the enemy team.
    A rework that benefits both the enemies and the user.
    This was conceptualized and tested on a private workshop long before the latest official Sombra rework, which imo missed the mark by a longshot.
    These are the problems with Stealth I recognize:
    * Allowing Sombra to attack or Hack while inside of Stealth is far too oppressive and un-interactive; she will always get the first say and enemies can only react, which is frustrating and puts a cap on how strong Sombra is allowed to be. From a multiplayer PvP game perspective, this form of invisibility effect is unfair.
    * Detection range and taking damage are far too punishing; Stealthing through a choke is near impossible due to how large is the radius at which enemies can detect her, and taking a single bit of damage will reveal her to the entire enemy team for a whole second, which makes her go towards the usual flank routes anyone else would've used anyway.
    * (old) Perma-Stealth is a big pain-point as it allows Sombra to effectively camp anywhere forever with not much to do about it but periodically check every nook and cranny pre-emptively, which isn't fun for most players and incentivizes too passive a playstyle that wastes time to the detriment of both teams; low deaths, but also low damage.
    * (new) Her Stealth being duct-taped to her Translocator hurts flexibility, and polarizes her interactions a bit too much.
    Sombra's stealth needs to be more manageable; both for Sombra herself, and for the enemy team's sake.
    Solution:
    1》 Split Stealth from Translocator, like it was previously.
    2》 Introduce a Stealth Resource Meter. A full meter would take 10 seconds to deplete, and 30 seconds to refill.
    3》 A portion of her SMG's damage will convert into Stealth meter gains. About 35% of the damage being converted into Stealth meter felt pretty solid.
    4》 Sombra won't be able to attack nor use any kind of ability while in Stealth. Pressing any attack or ability input will cancel Stealth and start a Fade-In. (On testing, it could be alright to allow Hack while Stealthing, but we need more tests)
    5》 Decrease Detect Radius [4.0m -> 1.0m]
    6》 Decrease Reveal on taking damage duration [1.0s -> 0.2s]
    7》 Increase Fade-Out duration [0.25s -> 0.75s] and Fade-In duration [0.35s -> 1.5s]
    Her design's more healthy when her invisibility isn't permanent nor allowed to attack right out of it, due to the way invis dynamics work in multiplayer games.
    With these changes to Stealth you reduce passive play and encourage more aggression without the crippling repercussions of stapling Stealth & Translocator together. Sombra becomes more present and makes enemies feel less cheated-out. You completely remove the annoying hack & run, and give both parties more agency over invisibility.
    These also introduce more skill expression around Stealth usage via resource management (rather than simply waiting for cooldown timings) and finding spots from where to Fade-Out and Fade-In without being noticed.
    All other statistics like SMG damage, Stealth move speed, existance of the Opportunist or Virus abilities and such will be balanced around this new iteration of Stealth.
    I know Sombra's been reworked to hell and back, but I'm confident that this (or a variation of these) will hit finally the nail on the head for a satisfying environment for both Sombra players and the opponents she's matched up against with.

    Suggestion: I'd be interested to see what happened if the crit dmg multiplier was halved. Specific heroes that rely on headshots (Widow, Hanzo, Kiri) would keep the current 2x damage. Heroes that have their crit dmg reduced to 1.5x would recive some sort of compensation (extra ammo, increased base damage).
    I speculate this would decrease a skill gap with aim and make the game more casual friendly. At the same time the skill cap would stay and maybe tanks would go boom a bit less.

    A few suggestions to fix hero and event achievements
    Suggestion: Make hero achievements obtainable in the classic mode. If the classic mode is staying for three weeks, let me keep the achievement grind while playing that
    Suggestion 2: Either Reduce Baptiste´s Window of opportunity achievement´s amps required to 1000-1500 without dying or up it to 2500 again and remove the without dying part. Currently this achievement encourages a non-healthy game-throwing playstyle, making most players that try to get it hold back and not advance in payload or push maps and ruining the game for the whole team
    Suggestion 3: Keep achievement progress between rounds. Please! There is no point in resetting it when a round ends, this makes a lot of "Without dying" achievements insanely annoying to try to get in control maps.
    Suggestion 4: Make PVE archives game modes always available in the missions tab.
    Suggestion 5: Make the Illari, Mauga, Venture and Juno Hero Challenges into achievements. Currently it´s inconsistent between heros and not fun.
    Suggestion 6: Make some new achievements related to Overwatch´s 2 new mechanics, for example:
    -Reach season level 80 in any season
    -Reach season level 200 in any season
    -Reach progression level 10 with any hero
    -Reach progression level 100 with any hero
    -Reach general progression level 250
    Suggestion 7: For the love of God, PLEASE add stats that we can see in-game that reflect achievement progress. For example:
    -Amplified healing and damage this life for baptiste
    -Enemies hit at the same time last ultimate for moira
    -Wall ride killing blows this life for Lucio
    -Most wounds reached at the same time for Junker Queen

      I agree with all of this except for Suggestion 6, I don't think there needs to be any kind of achievement for season levels it would just add more achievements to a game with many many achievements already. I think it is very clear when you go into the achievement section though that many are so clearly outdated, like getting 4 kills with Zen after discording them is way harder to do with 5 players instead of 6. Also I got a quintuple kill with Cass' ult in Classic and was kinda sad that I didn't get this achievement for it. Also I think they should be adding achievements every couple seasons for the new heroes, gamemodes, etc.

    I came to overwatch from Battlefield 4. When you died in BF4, there would be a Death Cam that showed you ‘You 1: Foe 3’ dependant on how many times that one person had got the final blow on you that game. Add this into ‘Kill Cam’ screen?

    Suggestion: Queueing up for multiple roles shouldn't queue you up for the same role over and over. If I queue up for all 3 roles, I shouldn't get Tank 6 matches in a row. After about 3 matches the system should prioritize the other roles.

      Plus a lot of times they only give the Bonus to All Queue. If they're going to incentive it then they should make sure it's possible to play more than one role.

      @@MJyoung35 Also when I auto requeue for a game it is easier to not change my role from all roles to just the two I want to play. I like to balance out which roles I am playing and doing All Roles just to get stuck with Tank 4 games in a row just makes me not feel like playing anymore

      Scope glint alone without be enough. She would need a sway and bullets that hit her would have to cause her to flinch to remain a hitscan, IMO. Otherwise give a projectike that travels really fast like Reaper and Sombra projectiles that arent hitscan but feel like hitscan

      My team just played an exhibition match against a Champ Widow, and I realized that the majority of the times I died to her is when she took some funky angle where I simply couldn't see her.

    I hate to say it, but the issue with the post kill healing stat is that it won't be used correctly. You will see sups getting flamed for people who constantly LoS their supports instead of catching out bad supports. Instead of asking why they weren't getting healing and realizing they were ditching their supports, they'll just use it as another stat they can flame their team with. People already don't understand the basic stats we have so I'm not sure how more stats will actually be effective in a vacuum.

    Suggestion: Make widowmakers charge work backwards. Make her start at full charge for like a second then quickly lose charge. That way she won’t be sitting there ADSing and it’s more skillful to quick scope imo. Her smg might have to be buffed or something else.

    Suggestion: Rename the tank role to something else (Vanguard, Brawler, etc....). For veterans it wont make a difference, but for newer players it might encourage them to give the role a chance as the OW "tank" plays very differently to a typical MMO/RPG tank (no taunting, high mobility and damage). They are mostly just beefy dps not low damage taunters like their name would suggest.

    Suggestion: Bring back Bastion's Tank ult. Obviously it needs adjustments (no one-shot and heavily reduce the recoil) but its way more fun to use than Artillery.

    A cool idea I heard for a potential widow nerf is to slightly lower the damage she does but make every shot apply a DOT like the venom mine, so that the damage she does per shot overall is still the same but if supports react quick enough they can save you. I don’t quite know how exactly it would be balanced maybe it does damage over a very short period of time like 1 sec or maybe longer? Also headshots should apply a stronger DOT with higher DPS instead of extending the duration to not make it feel as bad for the widow players.

      I was actually thinking about the math for this the other day and I think it would really help a lot. If you increase total damage but make it either all DOT (just a fast one) or half instant and half DOT, it would prevent a headshot being an insta kill, but still be severe enough that it could bait out cooldowns. Like, a full charge headshot doesn't insta-kill a 300hp hero, but it would eventually if they're out of position and don't spend a cooldown on healing or cleansing the effect either from themselves or a nearby support. You don't get insta "free" picks, but for the cost of just ammo, you're forcing out cooldowns by applying pressure, which fixes up a lot of the annoyance I think, at least for me.

      @dbear7717 widows biggest and only asset is her one shot potential. It is the only reason she gets picked at all. Taking away her one shot is equivalent to killing the character. They'd have to fundamentally rework how the character works alienating her current playerbase if they want to get rid of one shots entirely.

      @ It would still be a one shot, just with a tiny bit of reaction time for the enemy team. I also thought that maybe most of her damage could still come from her actual shot maybe even 225 so that it still instakills all the flyers like pharah and echo.

    Remove the timer from discord orb, tweak its base DMG amp % and add a decreased DMG amp on tanks WHILE adding a passive where damaging the discord orb enemy target will heal the harmony orb friendly target for a certain %

    Suggestion: Reduce Symmetra's TP cast time. There have been quite a few instances where trying to TP myself out of sticky situations or a cheeky flank would have worked if the TP deployed just a tiny bit faster (currently 1.72s total on live). Also we should be able to TP in spawn, TP hasn't been infinite in years and they never reverted this when they changed it from infinite to a 10s duration.

    Suggestion(Hottake?): people need to use health packs. They don't currently. I've watched people who are low health fight 6 ft from a pack and instead of getting the pack they just die

    Suggestions: I'm a high plat/low Dia player and even after some nerfs Dva has been really oppressive in all my games, because she literally has no downtime due to her infinite ammo and constant matrix. Imo they should either implement a overheat mechanic like Orisa, so that she has to juggle between her abilities and primary fire OR make it so that being stunned while usung matrix either drains the resource meter a little, or disable it for 1 to 1,5 seconds to give more characters like Cass or sig the chance to make dva vulnerable, and force the dva player to think more about when to use there matrix
    Also mini suggestion: let me see how much healing I've received (Maybe even from which support) so that I know if I'm actually not being healed or not!

    suggestion: rework “2cp” into “3cp”
    For this reworked 3cp game mode, each capture point should “lean advantageously” to the defenders/attackers. 1st point would designed to have give more benefits to the attackers(without being completely terrible for defenders), 2nd point would be symmetrical and equally benefit attackers/defenders, then lastly 3rd would be more advantageous for the defenders(without being completely terrible for attackers).
    also from what i remember one of the bigger complaints was the 2cp matches lasted to short, games only lasting about 10 minutes or so. adding an extra point could lengthen match time.

    Suggestion: Widow's one-shot should be a chargeable laser weapon. The Spartan Laser and Q3A Rail gun are some of the most satisfying and fair sniper weapons in any multiplayer shooter. Still hit scan, still kills in one shot; Armour chips preventing instant death was some good game design in Q3. But, The Spartan Laser paints a targeting laser-sight while charging and uses ammo during the charge to prevent constantly pre-charging. Gives a clear indication of where the shot is coming from before you die instantly and offers the chance to duck for cover. Sure people can still charge the shot elsewhere then flick to their intended target if they're skillful, but thats then all part of the mind games and for the most part you'll likely still see the sight line charging up elsewhere to give you some indication that it's coming.

    Suggestion: on the topic of widowmaker, I’d like to see her base one shot capability removed, but increase her reliance on detecting enemies through walls. Give her a passive that allows her to do extra headshot damage (enough to one shot a squishy target) while they are spotted. To support this, maybe allow body shots to spot targets, giving her the opportunity to get a quick follow up, or give her more venom mines to place in choke points. I think making her headshots more predictable will help with player frustration

    I know I’m pretty late to the party but I’m personally gunning for a Widow rework in which her “1 shot” ability is moved to a long cooldown(ultimate preferably) and her main gun is instead switched to a high damage slow firerate Heavy DMR style weapon, and in place we lean more into the “spider” aspect of her in which she can hang from certain walls and ceilings with her grapple for crazy mobility and angles(buggy mess I know) and a different poison application ability instead of her mines(AOE preferred) this, with a few tweaks, would hopefully promote more aggressive play to EARN her one shot similar to Ashe and still keep her classic sneaky “spider” sniper persona. I understand DMRs are notoriously hard to balance but a few gripes aside the OW devs are generally good at keeping core weapons in a good check and balance state

    Make Sombra invisible to enemies while they are scoped in. This would allow her to return as a "sniper counter" without giving her another frustrating adjustment to her invisibility. Ana should be fine as her gameplay already encourages her to not stay scoped in for too long, but Widows sit scoped in for far longer periods. Knowledge of an enemy Sombra would change the way they play, resulting in a reduction in max-powered shots on average.

    Widow has some of the least exciting cooldown ability (mine) and ultimate in the game... I would change her ult to instant charge her scope shots, allowing her to deal with flankers and allow a more dynamic gameplay for a few seconds. Wallhack can replace the mine on the cooldown, not as it is now not but more like a sonar revealing enemy positions for a fraction of a second.

      Most of the time it does, the contextual ping is pretty decent. I've had it occasionally do the generic 'over there' voice line when I'm trying to get my lone tank who's still front lining with no team to head back to spawn to survive lol

    Suggestion: implement a minimap feature that only show the location of enemies if you can hear their sound queues. It would make it so the minimap does not give information the player wouldn’t have access to previously (in LoL you can see things your allies see on the minimap but for this one, you wont), thus still allowing plays like crouching to sneak into the backline to work, while lowering the skill floor for players who can’t use audio queues to locate someone. It would be like how people enable subtitles to tell when enemies use their ult based on voicelines and can be a toggleable accessibility setting.

    Suggestion: overwatch should projectile size scale such that projectile size increse size the longer they travel:
    this mecanic would be similar to fall-off and would increse projectile size in a scale.
    for example a hanzo projectile from 1.0 to 2.0, from 20 m to 50 m.
    this would help a lot if we try to tweak projectile size in the future, and right now could help with the terrible hanzo winrate.
    overwtch meta after season 9 have serious issues with projectile sizes at close ranges,i would suggest to try to implement a mecanic that help with projectile consistency at longer ranges, and limits enorums hitboxes at short range such as phara,genji ecc.

    Suggestion: Mercy really needs a buff.
    Mercy isn't in a good place right now, and hasn't been in a very long time. In the original supports, she's the one that has suffered the most with power creep.
    It's also perceived by the community, that support ultimates are the strongest, clearly not the case for valk.
    So I suggest that valk should be buffed, and there's a few possibilities.
    Increase the healing while in valk (like 80hps).
    Increase the damage boost (like 40%, to be like a poor man orisa bongo).
    Decrease the cast time for rez while in valk.
    Or give mercy overhealth upon activation, to help with survivability.
    Any of these changes would help valk to be more impactfull, and give a reason for players to use mercy more.

    Suggestion: Add a hero ban and/or a map selection before the game. This will add serious variety to the gameplay if it becomes possible to ban 1 support, 1 tank and 2 DPS before the very beginning of the game. With the choice of a map, everything is easier: You are given 2 or 3 maps to choose from, the map that was voted for the most - you play on it.

    Make it so widow can 1 tap up to 10 meters away on any squishy. Now feed into her identity as a spider. beyond that range make it so her bullets deal less impact damage and apply small amounts of poison over time, if she head shots, more poison is applied, body shots less is applied. This way theres time to actually out heal the poison and its not just an instant 1 shot. Makes her still provide lots of value, without removing her identity

    SUGGESTION: I think mercy's gun could use a buff tbh. Everyone keeps complaining that Mercy is a throw pick because she isnt the best killer or healer but also that she's too powerful. People complain when her healing, dmg boost, or rez is tampered with. So why not just boost her offensive capabilities? Give her a boost to her barbie blaster! Maybe that the more heads she clicks she decreases her guardian angel cooldown or something. Idk, there needs to be a way that she can hold her own a little bit. I just want her to be updated so she can still be a "viable option" to play, even though they won't care because she'll still get played regardless of the state she's in

    Suggestion: Let people manage voice lines, emotes, skins, cosmetics, etc for their character while in game up to 3seconds before game start, before respawn, and while in skirmish/deathmatch/arcade modes. There are a lot of heroes I gave some cosmetics and such ages ago and I have no idea what they have on them until I load in and discover I have no voice lines on them or something. If I want to fix it I have to wait a whole match and remember what I wanted to change, and then I’m probably going to requeue anyway so I have less than a minute to remember and fix everything. Maybe it’s a performance thing about not having to load in all the skins and animations and audio clips while the rest of the game is loading, and in that case it makes more sense, but there are still improvements they could be making.
    In general it’s surprisingly clunky to be able to play around with the one thing that makes OW2 money. Some of this could possibly be fixed by leatting players go straight to full hero-editing from the battle pass and challenge reward screens.

    Suggestion: make it so Venture's ultimate can hit people in the air but does additional damage if they are on the ground, so it would be a bit more useful against all sorts of flyers. Alternatively, instead of doing a portion of its damage to airborne enemies, their ultimate can disable passives (Pharah's hover, wall riding, air gliding), this way you'd have to drop an enemy first and then do damage

    Suggestion: NERF WIDOW but do it like this. Make her shots only able to charge if the reticle is on a target, and the speed of the charge vary depending on the position on someone’s body. Or just give her a snipers glint so I can at least know which scary corner I can’t turn without seeing a teammate ethered first.
    The first change in theory would force her to look around more to charge, giving people time to at least attempt to rotate, and will make a 1v1 slightly easier if she’s pocketed since even unpocketed, she doesn’t have to be at 100 to kill a squishy

    I don’t think widow being projectile would ruin her as a sniper necessarily. I play battlefield and the snipers are projectiles with bullet drop on there and that game has some of the most fun sniping I’ve done in any game. I think if you gave widow players a month they’d be used to it and she’d be exactly the same, just marginally harder to pickup.

    Suggestion: add a "Healing received" stat to the scoreboard. Im currently in plat and the number of dps I've heard complain is annoying to all hell and it could help players see "am I playing good or am I being loaded with heals all game?" Overall I doubt it would hurt the game to include it.

    Suggestion: Why not have Widow’s headshot damage be a fast damage over time effect? Similar to Ana’s weapon shots.
    This would allow more counterplay and options for playing against Widow, while still allowing her to deal that high damage.
    I still feel the 120 base burst damage is good though, just the extra headshot damage becomes the DOT

    I don’t know, projectile widow might actually be a good idea, especially in 5v5 where even when a widow gets that one pick, the course of the team fight changes, it would force widows to respect certain heroes and they couldn’t just flick them anymore, they would have to prefire, it could also give widow another counter, that being hitscan heroes.

    Probably would NEVER do this, but here’s my suggestion:
    Blizzard should add a 100% infinitely repeatable challenge that rewards you 5-10 overwatch coins for let’s say 10 games played (maybe double progress for wins). That way free to play players, just by playing the game, have an actual form of progression they can work toward to buy a skin for their favourite character, or even the battlepass. It would take so long to be able to afford a skin that blizzard wouldn’t lose out just from how much extra playtime players are putting in.

      For metrics, a system would be a max of 190 games played for a legendary or, assuming a 50% winrate, about 120-140 games played. If it were only 5 coins, those numbers would double, making it a similar amount of time to unlocking a gold gun

    Widows grapple should be like Sombras hack where it breaks after receiving damage. It makes her more divable but keeps her ability to reposition. Lower her grapple cooldown to compensate.

    Suggestion: Have zen be able to have 2 orbs of discord or harmony up at the same time. Zen will be sort of the same now as he will be able to have a total of 2 orbs up at the same time but let the zen player be able pick and choose whether they want to heal more or increase enemies damage taken (i dont think that zen should be able to put 2 orbs on one person)

    Around the 10 minute mark about the player icon and banner being visible from tab scoreboard; this idea would be a disaster because people will intentionally throw games because of what icon or banner people use. I know this sounds outrageous but it’s already true as it is and putting them on scoreboard will just exacerbate this issue. I’ve been in games where people will throw if they see an Israeli player icon or the recently added sexuality banners.
    With the way it is now, the icons and banners kind of get forgot about by the time game loads but if they are seen on tab screen it will remind people and exacerbate the toxicity even more.

    Hot take, Turrets should have an uptime timer. Dear God I'm so tired of people finding that sweet spot or setting up a choke with turrets that no can get through.
    More reasonable take, Turrets cool don't start until the Turrets is destroyed by the enemy team or the player. It's a bit cheesy, which I'm guilty of, that moment there's any dmg on a turret we tap the button to spaw. A new one at full health.
    This is just me complaining about turrets...

    The community balance patch had the perfect compromise for letting Hanzo have his one-shot ability without letting him just be an RNG spam bot: give him a clip and a reload. 10 arrows (going off the community patch), then he has to step aside to craft more arrows: punishes spam without severely alterling flow. Sonic arrow doesn't consume any arrows, neither does ult or storm arrows.
    One of the most dramatic moments in his cinematic with Genji was running out of arrows, I don't see why this wasn't a thing to begin with.
