NOOOOOO! The water fall is open, you guys just didn't go far enough. That's just a reception area for researchers and highschool trips. If it's raining in the north, go to the south, it's more arid in the south. Beach suggestion: Playa sucia in Cabo Rojo. I really wish you guys would have explored more. I don't know of any Islamophobia in PR, people here are conservative, and men are chivalrous. Ergo, I'm more than sure that you would be treated well outside of the resort and tourist traps (lets face it San Juan is beautiful but it's a tourist trap).
Hello 👋🏽 I remember that we went all the way up and couple of men told us it was closed and told us to return. I wish we would’ve explored more too, it’s after I edited this video I realized that we didn’t explore much. I do not remember mentioning Islamophobia in this video. But we did get stared a lot in San Juan, which I will be talking about in my next video. Thanks for tuning in 🙏🏽💗

However, I can assure you that if it was done by puertorricans it’s because a lot of people here have never seen anyone like you (dress, behavior, etc…) in person. I can assure you that if it was a man in a thawb they would have been equally ogled. What I meant by lack of islamophibia is that to my knowledge no one here has ever protested against its practices, or there has never been any recorded cases of hate crimes, or prejudice. Ergo, (if that was a reason at all) you can feel safe to go out and explore. Nevertheless, I’m sadden you and your friends suffered so many inconveniences. You should write to the PR tourism company about what made you uncomfortable. They sometimes throw-out commercials that instruct the general public on how to avoid cultural clashes.
