Can you believe that you’ve had this Sharp TV VCR combo for seven years now, and after all that time, it still works. Did you know the AV cables you use to plug your VCR DVD combo into your TV VCR combo look like AV cables for a Nintendo Entertainment System. One thing I know old CRT TVs like that are good for playing classic old games.
That's nothing - most of my childhood VHS collection suffered from way worse tape damage. Some of them were extremely chewed, kinda just as bad as Corbin Petty's copy of Pretty Woman if my memory is correct.
I've had ones that were way worse. But this one is still pretty darn bad! And do you mean Corbin Petty's old copy of Pretty Woman from 2012? Because I certainly remember that one! And yeah, that one was 100X worse than this!!!!
@@CorbinPetty-s6w Yeah man. I remember the Pretty Woman VHS from 2012. MAN was that a damaged tape or what!!!! Thankfully that is one of the ones from 2012 that is still available, since it was part of that compilation video that I thankfully archived and reuploaded.
I could very easily splice this tape if I really wanted to. And I would. But because of the mold, it's not really worth trying to splice it, IMO. At least it’s only the opening that's like this, and not the entire rest of the tape.
Great video dude 😎
Thanks man!
@@therealjoshhart518 You’re welcome

Awesome buddy btw ill do my opening and closing to beverly hills billies and phil collins asap
Nice!
The filmstrip reminds me a lot of Tyler Black’s old copy of Terminator 2: Judgement Day, but this tape is a lot worse
Oh god yes. This outbeats that tape, 100%!!!!!!
The copy printed on the 43rd week of 1991. He had another copy printed the 31st week of 1992.
There are some VHS tape mold-cleaning machines out there.
More damaged tapes? That's unacceptable. 😣

@@therealjoshhart518 Yep. It literally came eaten up at the store and I decided to get it anyway.
I thought it was gonna be so bad that the audio would either slow down or speed up.
There probably might be a way to splice this tape.

That tape is completely damaged!!!
Doing Corbin Petty a complete service with your exaggerated reactions 👍
Lol. Yep.
(Honestly though, I could have gone a lot more exaggerated if I really wanted to).
just look corbin petty
Lol. Yep! Except slightly less of an exaggerated reaction.
Throw that completely damaged tape in the garbage!!
Honestly, I probably will, once I get a better copy.
Yeah definitely pretty damaged. Also Josh, I’m just curious, do you have instagram?
Sort of.
I do have a personal Instagram, though I rarely use it. (It's joshuahart322000 if you're really curious).
