Is there not a forced win with 1)RN..BNE 2)RM..BS (forced block) 3)RNW setting up a win on the W and SE hole? If 1)..BE creating a 1 gap, red plays 2)RNW setting up a win on NE or W hole and the same with any amount of gaps. A rule suggestion I have is not allowing anyone to make 3 in a row in the first 5 pegs, so starting with blue’s final peg you can go for 3 in a row. KEY: R=red B=blue NE…etc= northeast/top right…etc M=middle So 1)RN…BNE means red starts by putting a leg in the top (north) hole and blue responds by placing a peg in the northeast hole.
Nice !!
I'm huge fan of 2-player abstracts
