    That area where you are at, just below St Charles church, was once a swamp that was 'filled' to be used to be as a football field for St Charles School atheletics programs. The area that was filled started just below the Lindberg Bridge and went all the way to the steps up to the church.
    I was raised just above the "Kent Park"... I find it amazing that the field is a swamp again...

    The dam use to divert water to a canal that went to Kent Mills. The canal was filled and the path is where the canal use to be.

    My Kellys left the UK for Pennsylvania in the late 1800’s.

    Sellers Hall, completed in 1684, is one of the oldest buildings in Pennsylvania and is the ancestral home of the Sellers family of scientists and engineers. it still stands. there are many building older than this olderst ever building just fyi. i look forward to see my 8th ggrandfathers building.
