But first he needed to do a 360 and completely turn around one time and look at his past mistakes and the mess that he was leaving behind look at it one last time and learn from what he sees and then turn back around facing the future and your opponent or the path you're on and continue to go forward!!!!! Not to defend the mom or anything but never saw a father in the vid so I assume a single parent household. As a kid in a similar situation, my brothers and I have had that conversation. About how we were going to make it so are mom never had to work again and get her a house. Long story short I was fuckin up and my mom and brothers sat me down and said "How are we going to look out for mom with you fucking up like this?" We make promises to people and they hold us to them, maybe that was the promise he made to his mom. Maybe that was part of his motivation? Idk just some food for thought since there's always 3 sides to every story.

Look, Terence is legit one of the guys that got me started in MMA. Watching him choose to do it made me tell myself I could and then I did. So I have the utmost respect for him. The night of my pro debut he was in the main event knocking dudes stiff. Can’t get any more inspiration than that.
With all the respect I have for him as a person, I can say that this is the third fight of his in a row that has told this as the underlying story, and it’s lost it’s shock value by now. What about the three knockouts he got in LFA before he came to UFC? His entire story isn’t just this one thing nor did it start with this one event.
