IN 1996, my friend installed the sames pipes on his 1982 Trans am and it was looking very nice with a sound of hell! But one negative point force him to change it, too low for the Gaspesian's roads! On a trip with friends and girls, we challenged all Civic on red lights to next lights and when we passed on the first bridge , maybe we are too much inside the car but sides pipes decides to leave us on it! However, we are lucky , just between the manifolds and sides pipes, we had installed a flexible pipe for avoid failure caused by engine's vibrations. It's the flange who broken! We return to garage and take the most simple choice we had , double exhausts from headers to rear's bumper and at exit, a 3'' inch mustang 2005 tail pipe just at the middle of rear bumper! Straight pipe who give it a Crazy bad ass sound when four barrels was open!
@Valtiel1605 I had a 1980 trans am. To get it lifted in the back you add lift shackles. It chances the pinion angle though. it may make it harder to burn out.

Shackle kit or air shocks in the rear to kick the ass up. It use to be a popular look back in the 70's and 80's.
