The penetration value is only 30-40mm, but that’s more than enough But you face mostly biplanes. You can’t out turn them, and since your plane is slow you can’t outrun them either, so your ass is cooked big time 😂
The Japanese purchased 12 of these things giving them the designation A7He1. Of course this meant that they got an allied reporting name too. The allies called the Japanese He 112 Jerry.
The interesting thing here is that it had elyptical wings, just like the Spitfire, it is practically the German Spitfire. The thing is that such wings took a long time to produce and so the Reichsluftfahrtministerium chose the bf109 over the He 112b for the sake of simplicity (and because it was corrupt but well)
Ahh the good old 122 A-0. When I first started warplane games I played World of Warplanes (being a WoT player for some years at that time) and when I got to the He 122 A-0 I was in awe, such a good plane in that game. The game has some problems so I switched to WT until my laptop from then died but in that time I managed to get this in WT too (AAB) and it was as good as it was in WoWp. Recently I started playing WT again after a 3-4 (or more) years brake and I finally tried this in RB too and it's still as good as I remember it! Truly an overlooked fighter with a great gun and good turn/speed combination for it's BR.
I would recommend the V-156-BI rank 1 in the British tree I used it spot all the up to rank 3 but by that point is was slow and hard to maneuver compared to rank 3 planes but I think you’ll have fun

I actually find the 112 ridiculously maneuverable, especially compared to other German fighters. It’s not quite as fast, but its maneuverability combined with a really good gun make it a force to be reckoned with
That gun is finicky. When it works it really works but sometimes it will hit them like a nerf gun. It's fairly reliable but you gotta be somewhat close because of the fire rate usually and you gotta hit critical areas.
And one more thing, this bucket should be a Premium, this model with 20 mm gun was build in extra low numbers or it might be just only one. I can't remember now but it was like one or max three, they "test" in Spain civil War. Any how, ti should be premium. Great video and lot of laugh 🎉
I miss when this cannon blew everything up like it would have in real life. But the plane itself is very lackluster. Poor turning at slow speeds, significant compression at high speeds. It’s very difficult to play because every other plane is much better at doing one of those things. It’s especially noticeable against the biplanes. The moment they see you, they break out of your targeting area and you have to zoom climb. Over and over never getting a clear sight picture. Rather frustrating.
i got the Romanian premium He 112 in the German tech tree for free with a redeem code on a plastic model kit only plane i've ever done 9 kills with (in ARB of course) that Bréguet 639 on the first match was so dumb though, that plane is such a scary dogfighter for some reason
You should try out the P-66 in thr china tree. Its an american plane with 2 7.62s and 2 .50s. Its pretty good or you shoukd try out the chinese attacker V-12D with .50s. Both are Better than you think

There is another low tier plane is the french D.520 with 2 20mm cannons. You can also try that one. Btw i am not so trash at war thunder as I used to be, because of you
Th D.520 have only one 20mm hispano and 4 7.5mm MAC MG he is at 3.0BR and all he face are better than him in all terms, he is overtiered (was 2.7 before)...the MB.157 have 2 20MM hispanos with 60 canons each at 3.3BR, he's a very good plane.
As i recall the Luftwaffe wanted the HE 112s because it was better then the BF109. The BF109 only won because of political games. Also the Heinkel would even been better to Upgrade then the BF109. Fun Fact Spitfire has her wings because of Heinkel.

I think because everyone immediately goes for the 109 and 190 that the 112 and 100 really get overlooked!
