While i love the hustle, there's no protein! Protein is vital for helping you stay full. I would have swapped the veggie straws for a cup of Greek yogurt with fruit (chobani is about $1.50), a protein bar, a couple boiled eggs, or (if you're pescetarian) a pack of tuna. If you're on a budget, being constantly hungry is not ideal, so try to make sure all meals include a mix of carbs, fiber, and protein, cause that will help them last longer in your stomach.

The one with bands need to be bought in bunches, but the ones without 'em, like in the video, are left alone so people can pluck as many as they please or get their banana purchases for a specific weight. Considered loose. Long as you aren't jamming a knife in one to take half a banana, you're good to just take one of them. Never had an issue in smaller or bigger chains, personally - and usually end up prying a few off myself to get a weekly 3kg amount (house is allergic to eggs, but we bake a lot. And like bananas).

I personally don’t believe in doing things for free for your friends or for anyone (except family bc yes) so don’t take this seriously but I think if this continues happening, people could take advantage of her and just use her like a vending machine with a time limit to get you cheap but delicious food and keep the leftover money for themselves. I get it, it could be her own kindness or because she’s already making money off of her vids but nonetheless, she should still be able to keep the change. So this video reminded me of something… STORYTIME: so once i‘ve had this one vegan friend who WILLINGLY moved out of her parents home to LIVE IN THE STREETS because she fought with her mom everyday. It‘s not that she didn’t have a choice or a place to go - she had a possibility of 1) moving out for at least few weeks to the shelter, but she „didn’t want to live with other people together“ or 2) her psychiatric ward offered to rent her a small flat, but in order to live in this flat, she‘d have to work in ward‘s cafeteria and she „was not going to work in such a place like this cafeteria“. So instead my homegirl was unemployed and on the street and I couldn’t let her sleep at home either because I was living in a pretty small flat with strict parents. Anyway, i wanted to help her our, so at least I decided I‘m gonna cook a warm meal for her everyday and bring it over, because she always said that she was totally broke. I was making her the best veggie dishes - she was vegetarian- from my own budget and I was making maybe 600-800$ myself a month at that time… (side job) and she always found something to be unhappy about 😆 all my dishes were either too cold, or had too little seasonings, or she wasnt sure whether they were vegan and she refused to eat them… one time she claimed she was totally broke and she took me to the supermarket and was looking at veggie dishes, crying that she‘s so hungry and she has no money at all. All the money that I‘ve had left until the next paycheck were like 25 bucks… still i bought her a very expensive vegan sandwich and a drink because I just wanted to be a good friend and didn’t want her to be hungry. Then she goes „lemme go to the ATM machine, i gotta go check something“. I looked over her shoulder and that girl had almost 3k in her account… that was the moment when I cancelled this friendship 😅

We can have dairy and sometimes eggs (depends on the person) but I would get a small french fry at McDonald's, a mocha frappe, idk if everywhere else has a Souper Cafe but they have amazing tomato cheese toasted pita sandwiches and a tomato soup 👍

Best vegetarian snack (being a vegetarian myself)
    - Cucumber
    - salt
    - butter (optional)
    - some sort of bread (I usually chose pita bread it melts the butter best when heated in a toaster ;)

I was a vegetarian for four years and this video sums up why it didn't work for me, that "meal" was all simple carbs and sugar. Sure you could do well at home but with my level of depression I do good to make a sammy/microwave something so I wasn't exactly getting what I needed. I also developed IBS and reflux with an ulcer during this time and gained 40 lbs. .I still eat a lot of the wonderful veg meals I learned and I do think there are people it could absolutely work for long term but I wasn't one of them. Looking back on pictures I looked dead, I seriously look and feel ten yrs younger and can't believe I did that to my body but at least I can say I tried it.
