i heard the supermix 4 were very source dependent. a low output impedance dac was recommended. Heard an apple dongle worked perfectly fine plugged into usb c.
Bro don’t even waste your time with Dolby. I’m also on Xbox and played around with the Eq settings for 2 months and couldn’t get anything to sound right. Everything was either blasting my ear drums or too quiet. The best I have found was cinematic audio in game with the flex perk. Crank your game volume up almost to the max and voice volume down as low as you can while still being able to chat with friends you are playing with. It will dull some of the unnecessary noise like air strikes and explosions and make footstep audio easier to make out. Hope this helps! Good luck trying to get any help with console audio on RUclips. Nobody on PC gives a darn about console audio. Art is War only benefits them while we are still struggling to hear someone 5 feet away. These guys can pin point footstep audio from across the map lol.
Art, curious if you’re getting your hands on the ‘Roland bridge cast one’ soon. Curious to see how it would work with some iem’s and your tune. I think it drops on the 12th.
There must be something wrong with your Supermix 4 set. I can drive them from pretty much anything. (smartphone, Xbox controller, macbook) They sound much louder than my Truthear Zero's and my HD 560's, i always have to turn the volume down when I switch to the supermix 4.
My supermix 4 set sounded similar to his description until I upped the gain on my amp. Then they became a new animal. Crystal clear, good audio positioning in Immortals of Aveum, and the soundstage is great for the price.
@HadenPeon you should be able to do it ! Just check the specs of the iems to be sure . There are some with different connection types ! But the most are with two pin connectors! hi i have Kiwi ears quartet for like a year know and i heard a lot about the KZ ZS10 Pro, did you think going for the KZ is a good move for gaming or is it useless ? ty for answering :)
I have tried MoonDrop Blessing 3 and Kato offline. I prefer the bass of Kato,Blessing 3 bass Too much gives me a headache and discomfort but Blessing 3 in other aspects. Due to price and takes 10-12 hours to wearconsiderations, I prefer SIMGOT EA1000, If it were non-metal, it would be perfect for me What I want to ask is, among the many headphones you have heard, are there any that have a cavity made entirely of resin iem, but the tuning are the same as those of the SIMGOT EA1000,price best Under 400 USD?
@@ArtisWar I'm now targeting the Aretes as something superior to the Orchestra Lites. The large casing and it not being vented has always bothered me. @@ranishaar TBF, the Hola is in his 'did not make the cut' segment of his full wallhack list. Probably alright for music, but gaming isn't music. Despite what 'audiophiles' say.
Centre (and rear) image on the SuperMix 4 is iffy at best, and the bass is present but just not 'clear'. However it's not hard to drive at all. It actually has a rather low impedance (just 7.2 ohms) compared to most IEMs. I am not a fan of the SM4 and consider it super overrated, (I actually think the EM6L is notably better for gaming, though getting correct fit is harder on that) but it sounds like you got a bad set and should probably try a second pair.
