thank you for this. I also found that the best to prevent damage...since i see that youre very serious by wearing nonlatex gloves...is to wipe each card with a soft lint free cotton swab...so you get rid of those pesky debri that can potentially scratch the card with use...its the most important step otherwise...6 months from now, when youre resleeving you'll find surface abrasions.
You're supposed to put the card 3/4 into the sealable sleeve and then slide the flap in with your thumbs and the rest of the card comes along nicely. Putting the card fully in before the flap makes things difficult.
Amazing video, very informative, been searching for videos reviewing Sleeves Brands, inner/outer/double/triple, you cover almost everything on this video. Very low information out there about Yugioh card accesories specially, hope you can make a future content on Binders and Deck Box.
Broccoli oversleeves are the only wave, anything from DS just doesn't fit correctly/comes miscut or waves out within a local or two lol; Also, best way to throw on oversleeves would be to just insert the card and then push it in using the table while holding the oversleeve, that way you don't smudge the inner sleeve or bend the opening of the oversleeve
Thank you for suggestion and tips! I will will deff have to get my hand on more broccoli over sleeves. I have a few sealed packs but haven’t really used them yet. Dragon shield I do enjoy but do I notice in addition to the issues you’ve listed that sleeves from pack to pack can be different and don’t match well and you can easily have “marked” sleeves.
Are there are any clear on both sides outersleeves out there without the marking around the edge, i like the dragon shiled but the matte on the back blocks out the art.
Fun fact , I tried the new Japanese outer form dragon shield and I hate it , then someone says for the price is not worth it and to get standard size clear matte and I freaking loved them and worth the price and the deck is not as bulky as with the outer Japanese clear matte
I actually just picked up the Japanese outer dragon shields and still have to try them out. That’s interesting that you liked the standard size more for oversleeving.
@Cascada200 maybe 10 minutes maybe. Time didn't seem to be a factor. Just safer way if you had more expensive or a bunch of freshly sleeved, than using your hands
@@cleankaibaandthegentlemen1695 I wanted to protect the bottom of the konami sleeve, noticed stuffs can still get in there with just an outer. Is there a better choice than perfect fit + dragon shield clear? I know it’s not legal but my local is laid back on that kind of stuff.
ruclips.net/video/HMiqv-qlIY0/видео.html I made a part 2 video that has the Japanese sized outer sleeves from dragon shield. Check it out!

if you sleeve in tha same direction ot defeats the whole duble sleeving thing
His air argument is also stupid since you can just force it out by pressing down on the card a bit.
*spills soda* how’s your double sleeve protection 😂
@@ShadowTaker wdum?
@@nestor3634 because double sleeving in the same direction doesn’t protect the cards from any damage. It defeats the purpose of double sleeving.
@@ShadowTakerwhat's what im saying too

That makes more sense. Still wasn’t a fan. Especially if you want to swap cards out in your deck. Way too much added hassle.
Loved to see it. from now on I will use perfect fit to protect my cards

Haven’t thought of doing that but it’s 100% something I could do
Great video! I use Dragon Shield Matte and for outter i use the DragonShield Clear japanese size.
Wait how ? Or you mean the japanese clear outer ?
@@luchoperuano6617 yea the japanese clear outer. I use them with DS white matte and they feel good
@@zPapoy for some reason I hate it with that , but I love it with the standard

You could try the dragon shield clear sleeves. They do have non matte ones.

Books to help compression the air out
How long do you leave the books on top of the double sleeved cards ?

I'm a simple man, I see Yu-Gi-Oh! I click immediately.
Thanks for the video, have you tried the new-ish dragonshield oversleeves? Specifically for yugioh sized sleeves
I recently found them at another local but have not tried them out yet. Once I have I will make an updated video.
@@cleankaibaandthegentlemen1695 Cool, looking forward to it.
Have you tried putting konami sleeves inside kmc perfect fit?
Yes the KMC come up just a tad too short.
