Thank you so much! I've had the bag for a while and I've never gotten the chance to use the day bag. Now that I had to, I didn't know how to use it. This video was real helpful and I never even knew about the flap that covers the top of the bigger portion. You learn something new everyday! :)
This was helpful, once you realise that its just the buckle that goes through the loop its easy. I was looking for some other strap to go through the buckle. Why they didn't just use the standard fastening clips used everywhere else I don't know
I will re-examine it- but if the water bottle goes in the main bag along with lunch and a coat then yeah it would be ok for that- although minimalist I think it should, and needs to be able to be a day pack!! The water bottle can only go in main compartment as no bottle holders etc!! Many thanks

Glad I can help :-)
Thanks! I was just stumped on the day pack shoulder straps!

The official website doesn't tell us
If the aether 70 comes with the daylid pack is it worth it to attach the daylite plus bag?
The backpack that is the hood is more than good enough for a daypack- I wouldn’t bother …🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Thank you! Helpful!!
do you think the converted daypack is sturdy and roomy enough for a day trek, especially with 1.5L insulated water bottle, food etc?

I’ve just bought Either 60 plus and in the top lid day pack there is a separate bladder pocket and loop where you can attach it.

What size is the main bag without the day pack?

Its gray color?
