This looks awesome Dale, love the art style and it's definitely on my list to get around to. It certainly does look tricky though for an arcade experience. Some great tips shared. Thanks a lot 👍✌️
Just adore this game but I'm not too good at it so came here. Thanks. It's just sooo beautiful but I plan on playing it for hours and get frustrated. I'll get there though!
Nice to see it's not just me that goes flat out to fail and try and figure things out. Problem is I always forget where to slow down in the future runs. Are you pulsing the throttle or is it just how this game handles the revs?
Been looking through a few videos on Art of Rally trying to find a guide or tips and tricks and whatnot... It turns out it's just another whole case of "I suck, git gud".
It's rally. The road is more of a suggestion. Bumbles around the road happen. As long as you don't completely lose momentum, you're good. It's not uncommon for real rally cars to finish minus a hood or windshield after rolling the car.
Totally serious. I thought anywhere on the road would have equal traction. But wherever i go it seems like there’s no grip. A boat would have more. I’ve never experienced a racing game where the main challenge is to not wipe out. Then again i never played a sim. I might try it again and play with all of the settings again, i really wanted to like this game, it’s gorgeous, but as a game it was too frustrating. Would really benefit from an arcade mode

Cheers James, yeah highly recommend! It's tricky for sure, but so rewarding and fun. Thanks for watching as always mate!

Cheers buddy! Ahaha, it can be a frustrating game for sure 😂 easy peasy aha, thanks for watching as always mate

Haha, fortunately I have good memory of stages 😅 yeah am pulsing it in slow corners to keep the revs up

It's a difficult game as arcade racers go, also I found the game 10x easier with the Switch Pro Controller over the joycons.
Thanks i didn’t realize there was more grip in the middle of the road
Not sure if sarcasm 🤣 but this game is hard to keep it in the middle if you're pushing
