geoff's skin is the funniest fucking thing ive seen in my life. he's just a giant running stocking and i love when it changes to his screen so i can see his sprinting icon in the corner.
The discs are actually not Tubas they're really called Baritones or Euphoniums is the original name. Baritones look like mini Tubas but are not as low and deep as the Tuba, I play the Baritone so I know what I'm talking about.

Across languages there is quite some confusion, but strictly speaking, the Euphonium is the tenor member of the Tuba family, although there is the rare discussion Euphonium vs Tenor Tuba. The Baritone, originally refered to as the Baritone Horn, belongs to the Horn family. Although Baritones and Euphoniums are similar, they are definitely distinct. Back to the topic of the video (and your comment) however, I believe the sprite used for the music discs does actually represent the (Bb) Tuba that you were referring to.

TheMoanraker I've played the Baritone for about 7 years. I'm the only senior Baritone player at my school. I knew all that btw but thank you for going into detail for that. I can play the Trumpet but I haven't played it in years, but anyways yeah I knew almost all that stuff just not the Tenor Tuba part but the Baritone and Euphonium part definitely knew. What instrument do you play?
+Christian Carlson A fellow euphonium player! Jeremy called it a tuba and I was like "ITS A EUPHONIUM YOU UNCULTURED SWINE!"
+Christian Carlson Started playing the Baritone after having played some other instruments. Had a huge boost thanks to previous musical experience and switched to the Euphonium a few years later. Could've become a professional if I had ever bothered to practise, which I did not. Got myself a trigger, met Steven Mead and some other professionals. It is now 10 years ago that I started on the Baritone and I still play Euphonium in about half a dozen of orchestras/bands. At some point that boost I mentioned ended and my progress on the Euphonium pretty much halted, but I kept playing. About a year ago I started playing the Trombone and thanks to that same boost and my experience on Euphonium I've managed to get to quite a decent level. I'm considering doing the Saxophone or a Bb Tuba next year.
This might seem like just a lot of bragging, and maybe it is. After all, this IS RUclips. Yet, I want to stress that having fun in what you play gets you very far, and exactly this is what has gotten me where I am. I slightly regret not going to professional music school but then again, I am really happy with my current position in the world of Informatics.
I'm really interested in getting to know this aspect of musical culture in America better and meeting other musicians from around the world.

Although one thing I do want to mention is that I can read both treble clef and bass clef. So maybe one day that'll help me in my future of musician. I say carmel because that's the way my family always pronounced it so when I was learning words I pronounced it the way they did. But my best friend says caramel, cause that's the way her family pronounced it.
