Hello Iryna! Many thanks for your video about Trinidad, Cuba. My wife and I are Canadian and we spent many of our winters near Trinidad in a small village called LaBoca. I think you captured the essence of Trinidad perfectly. We also enjoy Bruno's Sapori restaurant. He's a very friendly restaurateur who's menus are outstanding. Thank you for showing the many sites and sounds of Trinidad and surrounding area.

Bravo chef Bruno! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 he has prepared food for me years ago. Trinidad like most cities and towns in Cuba are so very safe. The people are warm and everybody looks out for travelers. Pre-pandemic I was living in Cienfuegos six months every year. But I would often visit Trinidad (40 minutes away and cheap by bus or a collectivo) to stay for four or five days to horseback ride in the Escambre mountains, enjoy the beautiful music, abundant in this unique city and take the beach bus to Playa Encon to spend the day. The country manages electricity due to years and years of shortage by rotating the grids. Different zones in each citywill have power certain hours every day. Everybody learns to manage their usage based on the grid schedule. Foreigners aren’t used to this, but Cubans are very used to it and the government makes sure that most services provided for foreigners have full access to food and power. Trinidad will always be the city I stay in to play. I’m also a solo female traveler.

@ I stayed 3 days in Trinidad. I would say you will need cash to pay at the restaurants, local markets, souvenir shops, tours, tips etc.. at this point I can’t quite remember, but not more than you would spend in Havana a day.

Hi Iryna, how long did it take you from Havana to Trinidad? Did you take a taxi? By the way, you're very beautiful.

@@RobertoSilva-qd2ov Hi Roberto, thank you! It took me around 4 hours. I took a colectivo, it's a shared taxi that your accommodation can help you book, and it cost me 30 use one way (door to door service, they pick you up from your place in Havana and drop you off at your accommodation in Trinidad)
